It’s Feline Leukemia Awareness Day, FeLV is a retrovirus affecting thousands of cats in the world.

We recommend taking your cat into the vet if any of the symptoms in our post. Your cats health matters to us 💙

It’s adopt a shelter cat month! Our Humane Societies have so many lovable full grown cats and new born kittens waiting for a loving home.

We hope you take this as a sign to go adopt your new best friend.

We would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Dr Grant for volunteering some of his wonderful team to come and help us at the shelter the last couple of days. (Unfortunately, we didn’t get a pic of you all so hope this cute pic will be ok 😉)

Of course we have to celebrate our favorite, Dr. Valentino Grant.

Dr. Grant has been in the Veterinarian field for over 30 years, working hard to bring innovative technology and knowledge to the table in The Bahamas.

He cares deeply for animals so much that he donates a significant amount of his time to helping the out islands, so they too can have the resources that they deserve.

We love to gush over Dr. Grant but, he is a wonder you must meet in person.

It’s Pet Theft Awareness Day!

🦮 Be mindful of your surroundings, especially on walks. Someone may be lurking, waiting for a vulnerable moment to steal your pet.

🦴Be careful whom you share your pet's name with, or whom you allow to feed your pet treats.

🐾 Never leave your pet unattended in your car - no matter how quick the errand is.

🐈 Check your pets' microchip often

🦜Ensure your pet has a collar with a name tag & that tag has your contact information

🐈‍⬛ Keep your yard secure.

🐶 Take regular photos of your pets - they will be handy if you need to post missing pet flyers

Sweet Nina is missing, she was last seen in the Sea Breeze / Charles Saunders Highway.

Nina is a service dog for a person with a heart condition. Nina also needs twice daily meds for seizures.

Return her home! She needs her parents.
