Nature's Way Ltd. has an opportunity for an Accounts Payables clerk / office assistant. The qualified candidate should have experience in QuickBooks accounting and be Excel proficient. An associate degree or higher in accounting is preferred, or 5 years accounting experience in lieu of degree.

This position requires confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail.

Duties would include vendor invoice posting and account reconciliation, inventory posting and adjustments, product landed cost calculations (Excel), product pricing, reviewing vendor invoices for pricing accuracy, maintaining accounting files and updating products and pricing on the website and our shop. The candidate must be willing to assist with other tasks as assigned by the office manager, and other duties required of the position as it evolves.

The candidate must be able to work closely with the inventory manager and must be willing to assist with customer service, invoicing and communications when needed.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the candidate.

These simple-to-apply granules are ideal for use in standing water as well as in fallen leaves, tire dumps, and swampy areas where water accumulation cannot be easily controlled. Mosquito Bits contain B.t.i. (Bacillius thuringiensis israelensis), a naturally occurring bacterium which kills mosquito larvae but is harmless to humans, fish, animals, and beneficial insects. B.t.i. is also effective against fungus gnat larvae in soil. For mosquito control, sprinkle one teaspoon per 25 square feet of water surface area or one tablespoon per 75 square feet. Controls mosquito larvae for 7 to 14 days. Lasts for months in soil to control fungus gnats.

Now is the time to start your spring fertilizing if you have not done so already. We have a large stock of 10-10-10 granular slow-release fertilizer (50 lb bags - $54 +vat).

This fertilizer has been blended for our soils in the Bahamas. It contains added minor elements, such as iron, manganese and magnesium, with sulphur, and it is suitable for all your plant needs. Recommended uses include:

Palms
Flowering Plants
Fruit trees
General landscape plants and woody ornamentals, hedges and ground covers etc.
