LEAD Institute is the Premier Organization in Community Corrections for Re-entry, Alternative School & Drug Treatment Programs. We are A Non-Profit Organization providing services to Males in Crisis through an alternative schooling program called The Eagles Academy. Those who have Criminal Records, School Drop Outs, those on Bail, and former Inmates may use our services and enroll in our programs for a better way of life. Our Vision: For every ‘At risk’ Youth and ‘Offender’ to become a community leader and model citizen. Our Mission: We build pathways from recovery to leadership within the ‘At Risk’ and ‘Offender’ communities.
Moral Reconation Therapy – MRT ® Facilitator Training is 32 hours conducted over 4 consecutive days. A certified CCI-MRT instructor conducts each training on-site with visual aids and print materials. In addition, participants are assigned approximately 4 hours of homework in preparation to facilitate group counseling. Upon completion, attendees are certified to facilitate MRT groups independently with no term limitation, will receive a certificate of completion, and be eligible to earn CEU’s from LSU-Shreveport.
Moral Recognition Therapy Facilitator Certification Training
MRT is a cognitive-behavioral treatment system that leads to enhanced moral reasoning, better decision-making, and more appropriate behavior. MRT was initially developed as the cognitive-behavioral component in a prison-based therapeutic community. Because of its remarkable success (notably with minority participants), the program was then tested and widely implemented in general inmate populations, with juvenile offenders, in parole and probation settings, in community corrections, in hospital and outpatient programs, in educational settings, and in drug courts in all fifty states in the United States and twelve different countries inclusive of Canada.

The National L.E.A.D. Instutute continues to partner wtih Community, Civic and Religious Organizations to help complete the Redemption Empowerment Center. The facility will be a Behavioral Healthcare Center and home of the Institute, Project Reentry Bahamas, and The Eagles Academy.
