De-suung completes another water project With the handing over of De-suung water project to Yangyner in Trashigang and Jamkhar villagers in Trashiyangtse, residents will have a reliable supply of irrigation water.

14/11/2022:
Today, the closing ceremony of 3.5 KM Khangdari-Godari irrigation channel under Yangnyer Gewog was graced by the honorable Dasho Dzongdag, Trashigang. Around 60 Desuup, OIC, 1 NCO, Technician and Engineer were engaged till date for the project. The closing ceremony was also attended by Col. Tsheten from RBA, NS coordinator, DHQ, Director from MoAF, SP, Trashigang, Dasho Drangpoen, Dasho Dzongrab, Representative from Dratshang, DT Thrizin, few sector heads, Gewog officials and beneficiaries. The program ended with the award of certificate and His Majesty's Soelra to Desuup and officials engaged in the project by an honorable Chief Guest. It took more than 10 plus months to complete the project. About 154 household will benefit from this project.

TBT Update, Trashigang
05/10/2022:
A total of 25 Desuup( male-21 and female-4) volunteered to construct bridge on TBT trail at Narang-Durung border for a day. Successfully completed the construction with support from chiwog Tshogpa and a carpenter from Durung chiwog.

28/09/2022:

TBT walk cm clearing progress, Trashigang:
1) Maintenance of trail (25 meters) along the Gengthung-Trashigang trail via Chazam.
2) Clearing of bushes covering almost 6 km stretch.
3) Maintenance of the resting area uphill along the Chazam-Trashigang trail.
4) Painted and marked the TBT sign/direction for full stretch wherever necessary.
Total trail coverage: 6 km
Total Desuup engaged: 25.
With this the three days of trail walk/clearing and maintenance has come to an end.

1st day TBT walk cm clearing progress, Trashigang:
1) Constructed about 10 meters of foot steps along the Durung-Gongthung trail.
2) Clearing of bushes covering almost 10 km stretch.
3) Constructed/created new resting area uphill along the Durung-Gongthung trail.
Total trail coverage: 10 km
Total Desuup engaged: 26 supported by Durung chiwog tshogpa. We are well received by Gongthung area Desuup upon our arrival at Gongthung for halt today. For kind information to Dasho's and all . We will continue the trail tomorrow from Gongthung.

Today, the Desuung office, Trashigang has successfully conducted the MFTP pin award ceremony and simultaneously orientation program for 52nd batch has also been conducted at Dzongkhag Tshogdu hall in presence of Dasho Dzongrab. Thank you la

07/09/2022:
To all the Desuup engaged at Yangnyer water project, the Trashigang Dratshang led by venerable Lam Neten has hosted a dinner at kelling guest house. There were a total of 65 of them including OIC. With the recent flash flood at the site, all the Desuup had to be evacuated to the kelling guest house where the dinner is being hosted today. Thank you Lama for this gracious Dinner.
