We would like to thank all our valuable customers and because of you all only, we could come this far. 𝐢𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑: This year, we had supported one of our own potential team member Mr. Sherab Zangpo Tamang, who went out of the country and undertook three skill based courses: Professional Diploma of iPhone Repairing, Professional Diploma of eSAP AZ Repairing and Professional Diploma of Laptop + Desktop Repairing.

To mark the celebration of iDesire’s Second Foundation Day on 16th June 2022, two fully sponsored scholarship by iDesire to study BBA/BCom with boarding facilities at Norbuling Rigter College were awarded to Miss 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚 and Miss 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐳𝐨𝐦.

After successfully completing their graduation, they will be given an opportunity to join our team and pursue their career at iDesire as well.

The Need Based Academic Scholarships which iDesire has been giving every year are a tribute to Her Royal Highness Ashi Deki Yangzom Wangchuck who sponsored the High School Education of our Founder at Ugyen Academy many years back and we remain highly grateful to His Eminence Dasho Wangchuk Dorji Namgyal for giving away the Scholarship Awards through his auspicious hands yesterday evening, la.

These scholarships are awarded to the deserving candidates to study at Norbuling Rigter College as a part of the “Abundance Mindset Venture” of Norbuling Rigter College and we would like to thank the College Management for proving all necessary support to make this happen.

Initially, the announcement was for only one scholarship. However, considering the genuine need of the candidate, we stretched our resources and added one more scholarship making it to two, this year as well.

However, it’s not iDesire, who is supporting the educational journey of these Scholarship Candidates; it’s actually all our valued customers who stands firmly as a reason behind us and it’s because of you all, we have been able to keep continuing giving two Scholarships every year. We would sincerely like to thank you all for your trust and support!

The shortlisted candidates for our scholarship to study at Norbuling Rigter College appeared for the final round of selection interview which took place this morning at our office in Thimphu.

A team comprising of members from iDesire and Norbuling Rigter College jointly conducted the interview.

For those who could visit our office in person, face to face interviews have been conducted. However, for those who couldn’t make it to our office due to their current location being far away from Thimphu, online interviews were also conducted as well.

The finally selected candidate’s name will be announced and the scholarship will be awarded to the recipient on our second foundation day, 16th June 2022.

This scholarship is equipped with boarding facilities and includes full tuition fees, accommodation and all meals which in total is worth of Nu 5,08,404 (Nu 84,734/- per semester).

Upon the successful completion of his/her graduation after 3 years, the candidate will also be given an opportunity to work with us by joining Team iDesire and our standard HR rules will apply.

Interested potential candidates who does fulfil the criteria of being passed in Class XII, passed in Dzongkha and passed in Maths/Business Maths and is in genuine need of this scholarship can email their application to : “𝐜𝐬𝐫@𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞.𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞” latest by 31st May 2022 with the following documents attached:

His/Her duties include greeting customers when they enter the store, helping customers find specific products or showing them how to use them and documenting up customer purchases on the sales register. He/She is expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with various high-end clients at our store. He/She is required to listen to customer’s needs, understand their problems and provide solutions to them.

Educational Qualification: Class XII pass and above.

2) 𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿: We are looking for a technically skilled candidate with good problem-solving ability for the position of IT Officer. The duties of our IT Officer include being a reference point for all IT related queries at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other technical duties.
Our IT Officer is expected to diagnose, repair and maintain hardware and software components to ensure the smooth running of iMacs, MacBooks, iPads & iPhones for all our customers. IT Officer’s responsibilities includes installing all the necessary computer softwares as well and being the primary point of contact for IT support for all our customers.

Educational Qualification: Class XII pass and above.

3) 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁/ 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗿: We are looking for someone who can perform a variety of office support duties including the cleaning function at our office. He/She will also be responsible for preparing and serving refreshments to the staff and walk-in customers as well.

Educational Qualification: Class VIII pass and above.

4) 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫: We are looking for someone who can take up this full-time role, which will include providing a range of accounts management duties including:
• Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
• Managing a company's accounts payable and receivable
• Sending bills and invoices to clients
• Tracking organization expenses
• Communicating with clients regarding billing and overdue payments.
• Disbursement of staff salaries on time.
Applicants must have:
• Two to three years of experience in similar job in Bhutan.
• Sound computer skills and proficiency using programs like Tally and Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced math skills to keep accurate records and supervise the bookkeeping of an organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact regularly with clients regarding sensitive topics like billing and payments.
• Excellent organization skills for maintaining clear, accurate and meticulous financial records for iDesire.
• Attention to detail for ensuring the accuracy of a company's records and invoices.
• Excellent efficiency for handling any accounting issues quickly with minimal interference.

Educational Qualification: Class XII pass and above.

5) 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫: We are looking for a team of experienced Security Personnels who can keep our store secured during both day (2 officers on duty) and night (2 officers on duty) by performing the following responsibilities:
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Educational Qualification: Class VIII pass and above.

Salary: Competitive and based on individual experience. Experienced candidates in relevant fields will be given preferences.
