He may have been "forced" (gently coerced?) to buy them by his niece but I appreciated that they bought. And encouraged a friend to get a copy as well. The more the merrier, right?

It is never done. The editing never stops. Just when you think you have done the best you can, you realise you can do better.
I started working on this story in 1992, while I was doing my national service in Molepolole. Back then having access to a computer was a luxury. I was fortunate enough to meet someone who allowed me to use theirs. Unfortunately, saving it on hard/floppy discs was a challenge. (LOL! I just heard Gen Z ask what floppy discs were!)
I have started, restarted, lost discs and hard copies of this story for decades. I never gave up on it though. I am editing it again (I have lost track of how many times I have done so!) with the intention to finally publish it. So, hopefully, I won't need to edit it again and you will have access to it in Q1 of 2023.🤞🏾

I might be biased but I believe the lady here is my biggest fan. She started me on my writing trip at a time when I had stopped writing. She pushed me and kept on pushing me to write. I started Once Upon a Story because of her. She listened to my concept, provided input and then continued on the journey with me until it was published.

I am, without doubt, her biggest fan.🫡

Joseph Dzatsata - Co-author "Code of the Eagle"

I met Joseph through a writing app called Wattpad a few years ago after reading a story he had written on the platform. Turns out he had read some of my stories as well and we started chatting online.
Out of the blue he asked me to collaborate with him on a story and I was like "HECK YEAH!"

We wrote the story, chapter by chapter, with him writing from Zimbabwe while I was based in Botswana, chatting often and seeking guidance from each other when we got stuck. It was an amazing experience for me and I loved every minute of it.

The cover of the story reflects the two countries. If you take a close look you will notice the statue of the Three Dikgosi as well as Victoria Falls.

That is how COTE started. I learnt so much from Joseph, something that I will be forever grateful for. His planning, his impeccable timing, his narration are exquisite. His use of words is thought provoking and his imagery is awesome.

After COTE, we wrote a sequel called "Father Confessor : For the Motherland", where our heroes, Tsholofelo and Garikai's adventures continue.

I was asked by if I had a sequel to Code of the Eagle and the answer is YES!!!! I do. The story continues the adventures of the two heroes and is called "Father Confessor - For the Motherland".

Book Blurb:
Once again Garikai and Tsholo find themselves in the middle of a scrape.

This one is on the Zimbabwean side of the border, where two VIP children are abducted and the criminals responsible demand for Garikai's participation in the negotiation process.

Their pasts rear up and threaten to destroy their present. Will they be able to get over the events that helped define who they are and move past the obstacles that seem to be thrown in their paths at every turn?

Thinking about what comes next in my stories is a critical step in tying my stories together. While I have a basic story in my head which guides where I want the story to go, it NEVER goes as planned. The characters morph as the story progresses and they determine where the story ends up. This is sometimes a long way away from where I had envisaged it would go!
It's never a bad thing though. What I find helps to direct my writing is having a chapter by chapter outline. The amount of detail depends on the time of day I put it together. 🙇‍♀️
This is especially helpful when I find it difficult to get back to my writing for prolonged periods of time. When I do start up again, I have my outline to guide me.
So... working on the 30th chapter of my current book "Unknown".
