Last week Friday (24•11•2023) the Gentle Hands Dental Clinic team joined forces with other stakeholders namely:

and took oral health services to a primary school 85km out of Jwaneng town.

Activities included :
•meeting + oral health update with school management. •oral health education assembly.
•screening.
•quizzes and oral health play.

Movember Special

On the 20th October 2023 we were invited to participate in the Botswana Police College Wellness day.

The morning was spent screening for oral diseases and teaching on oral health care and the importance of visiting a dentist twice a year.

We had loads of fun interacting with the college students. They had lots of questions and were eager to learn about oral health. Thank you for having us police college

Dr B. Keokilwe-Kuiperij is our lead Dentist. A well-rounded clinician with 12 years experience and passion for working with people. She graduated from the University of the West Indies,Trinidad and Tobago with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) and is currently enrolled in a Post Graduate Diploma in clinical endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) Program with the British Association of Restorative Dentistry (BARD).

Ms G. Lobadi is a reliable and detail oriented individual who is committed to her work and is always eager to assist. She graduated from Baisago University College in 2019 and has 10 months’work experience as a front desk officer.

The team participated in a Health and wellness day hosted by the Imperial School of Business and Science on the 05/10/2023

The day was spent with the students and staff members screening for oral diseases such as caries, gum disease and oral cancer & sharing valuable information on how to take good care of one’s oral health.

Thank you ISBS for having us. We had loads of fun interacting with the staff and students.
