Moitshepi Matsheng is the Co-Founder and Country Coordinator of Youth Impact (previously known as Young 1ove), a youth-led movement that identifies, adapts, and scales health and education programs proven to work, by young people and for young people.

Moitshepi leads talent and strategic initiatives, stakeholder relations, and the organization’s partnership with the government. She is the first Motswana to receive the Queen’s Young Leaders Award. In 2016, she was recognized as one of 50 Batswana Change Makers under 40.

Pato Kelisitse is the beauty and brains behind Sustain267, a local Environmental Conservation organisation which advocates for climate justice. She is also a Gender Equity advocate.

"Sustain267 aims to raise awareness and share knowledge on environmental issues and address them through community engagement."

As we celebrate women’s month, we would like to highlight some of the incredible barrier breakers within our community. Meet our Miss Botswana who is currently representing us at the 71st Miss World, in India. Ms. Chombo is an attorney at Law by profession, with 2 years practicing experience. She is the Founder of Lesego Chombo Foundation which houses initiatives such as “The Genesis Project”.

During the competition Ms. Chombo has placed in all the model fast track pre-crowning competitions. Some of which are:
-Head to Head Challenge Winner
-Top 10 Beauty with a Purpose
-Top Model Africa, 4th place winner
-Talent competition Top 14 Finalist
-Won 20m race at sports finals
