Swedish National Day Celebrations at Swedish Consulate / Sanitas
A tradition we started in 2012. This year a 100 guests enjoyed traditional Swedish food in beautiful weather. We were honoured by the visit of Christian Fågelström, Deputy Head of Mission from the Embassy in Pretoria. Heja Sverige!

Our phone lines have yet again been stolen (10+ times in the last year, We have lost count). Telecoms are reluctant to repair anymore. We are hoping to have our old telecoms numbers re routed via mobile ASAP. This is very stressful for us and our customers who think we don't pick up when calling.

MEET THE PANELISTS FOR OUR TUESDAY SCREENING
Tswana Filmmaker: 
Tswana Filmmaker is a Botswana native, who is an accomplished writer and Director when he is not in lectures. A self motivated young man who is always willing to work at any given time, enjoys being part of, and leading a successful and productive team. He is described as loyal, creative and generous and a beautiful guy by his peers and friends. Thabiso writes - a lot, from creative writing( pitch bibles/letters, treatments, pilots, story development, editing and script reviews. Academic writing/development and teaches filmmaking too. He is a writer/director with a passion for telling uniquely Tswana stories with an authentic Tswana voice. He is known for the graduation film, Sebonta (2015), the feature film Subways (2021) Roses in December (2023) and among others the Drama series Colours and Botswood production, Botshelo Jo

MEET THE PANELISTS FOR OUR TUESDAY Molefi Moses Molefe:
Molefi Moses Molefe is a filmmaker with a Bachelor of arts in motion picture medium from AFDA Botswana, specializing as screenwriter & director. Molefi believes making movies has power to influence a positive change in our society. He has contributed towards the production of the following tv dramas being Iponeng season 1 for Now tv and Botshelo Jo season 3 for Btv.
With the passion for teaching and empowering aspiring film makers he created “Film Sgela” an educational video program found on the M M Imagination page. Currently he is the lead facilitator for the Dreams Alive Club - creative exchange, masterclass workshop. Additionally, he runs a startup video production company named M M Imagination of which they are working on producing their first feature length movie.

MEET THE PANELISTS FOR OUR TUESDAY SCREENING

Mana Seboni:
Mana was born and grew up in Gaborone. After some years in the marketing and
communication space, she left for film school to Johannesburg, to pursue her love for film.
She studied cinematography and worked behind the camera on some productions while in
South Africa and has also worked as a part-time grip on some of them.
Her particular interest in cinematography is focus pulling and has had the pleasure of doing
just that on several sets! She hopes to extend her skills in grading, because both disciplines
compliment each other.
She hopes to develop her own body of work and make deliberate decisions to invest in
issues close to her heart, to capture them raw and pictorially too.
