The Lord Jesus Christ was sent to work in your life and you know what His errand is? "John 10:10 KJV - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly". He came to give abundant life. But the job can only be performed on only one condition: "John 9:4 KJV, I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work".

Light is for the day while darkness is for the night. Only when you are in the light that the work will be done in your life. He himself said He can only work during the day and no one should expect Him to work in the night.

Do you want to enjoy His work in your life. You want to be safe from the (thief) stealer of joy, killer and destroyer of life the one and only agent of darkness. (The one that posseses the dark). Then what are you doing in the dark?

Leave the darkness now and come and enjoy abundant life in Christ Jesus.
He is here waiting for you.

SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS IN 2024

"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19

There will be funny situations and even people who will pop out in our lives during the course of the year. Jesus knew this and has given you authority and dominion over serpents and scorpions, demons and evil spirits, and over all that is against you. This is good news. This means, nothing and no one can stop your progress or frustrate your life. Think about it: if Jesus has given you power over all these things, you are in charge; you are the one who gets to call the shorts. You not only have power over serpents and scorpions, you have power over all the power of the enemy. You have power over charms, spells, curses, witchcraft and over all the power of the enemy. Jesus has literally reduced Satan and all his ability under your feet. And He says to you, "nothing shall by any means hurt you." Do you believe that?

You only get oppressed, frustrated and hindered by demons, circumstances if you are ignorant of this scripture, or if you don't believe it or you are not exercising the power the Lord has given you. This year, decide to take the Lord at His word and live the life of the scriptures. "Remember believe is our connection to God Almighty and His supernatural promises through His word". Yours will be a year full of victory and beauty in Jesus name. Glory to God.

DON'T GO TO EGYPT FOR HELP

"Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord !" Isaiah 31:1

The counselor to the king of Judah recommended that King Hezekiah establish an alliance with Egypt for protection. But, prophet Isaiah warned Hezekiah not to go to Egypt for help but to trust solely in the Lord.

Take note; God doesn't want His people to go to Egypt for help. Egypt speaks of the world. Don't turn to the world for help. Turn to the Lord. Egypt speaks of a sinful lifestyle. Don't embrace sin because it promises quick money. Trust the Lord to take care of you. Egypt speaks of worldly methods. God wants you to function by divine methods. Apply the principles of His word and not the principles of the wisdom of this world that comes to nothing. Egypt speaks of the arm of flesh. You should trust in God, not the world, for strength, protection, and provision. Egypt speaks of ungodly counsel. We should yeild ourselves to the counsel of God's word and not to the counsel of the ungodly.

"Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help..." The person who goes down to Egypt for help reduces himself to nothing and sets himself up for frustration.

Look to God for help. Trust in the Lord for provisions. Relay on the Lord for protection. Depend on the Lord for everything. No matter what, don't turn to Egypt for help.

ARE YOU A CHURCH MEMBER OR SON & DAUGHTER.

We have two different types of people in the church who are similar in deeds and servitude but as a pastor of the church you should be sensitive enough to differentiate them.

Not everyone who calls you mummy or daddy is your son/daughter, others are just church members (children). Members (children) are different from sons/daughters. One lesson to learn; " DO NOT GIVE ANYTHING OF VALUE TO ANYONE WHO WON'T VALUE IT". Sons/daughters mostly have different meals with the members (children). The book of Matthew 7:6 says, “Do not give that which is holy to the dogs, neither throw your pearls before the pigs, or they will trample them under their feet and turn and tear you to pieces.

Do you know children (members) may leave the church yet sons/daughters will stay in the church? Members will follow church programs yet sons/ daughters will make their fathers program their program too? Members will be waiting for the church to grow yet sons/daughters will be working for the church to grow? Children will wait to comment on the church poster and programs yet sons/ daughters will share and post the church programs? Members will be amazed with Miracles in church yet sons & daughters will celebrate the grace of God upon their man of God and the church.

Mostly, Sons and daughters carry the image of their parents. Sons are made yet members are raised. Sons and daughters eat on their fathers table yet Children (members) eat on everyone's table. When Adam was made, God rested from other duties. Sons and daughters give their parents rest. Children are born but sons are given. Isaiah 9:6 "..... the government shall be upon his (Son) shoulders." Sons and daughters give their parents relief. Children (members) can leave their parents but sons and daughters stick to their parents.

Before Solomon married wrong, the Bible says, "And Solomon loved the LORD..." (1 Kings 3:3).
Later, the Bible says, "...his wives turned away his heart." (1 Kings 11:3). "And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD..." (1 Kings 11:6).

It's not enough that the person loves you, does he/she love the Lord? If the person doesn't love the Lord, they will quench your love for the Lord and turn your heart away from Him. If you treasure your relationship with the Lord stay away from such people.

You too belong to Christ. He doesn't need to pay you for you to serve Him. You are His. Serve Him with your life. Glorify Him with your body and with your spirit which are His.
Your mouth was bought by Jesus - you can't use it for lying, gossiping or evil speaking. Your hands belong to Him - you can't use them for stealing and fighting. Your body was bought with a price - you can't use it for fornication, prostitution or worldliness. Do those things which are pleasing to Him. You belong to Him - live like it, everyday and everywhere. Glory be to God Almighty.
You belong to Jesus. You don't belong to sin. You are wholly given to Jesus. You don't belong to Satan and the world. You are alive in God-for God. Grace and Peace...

FAITH IN THE LOVE OF CHRIST - The Key to Victory

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." Revelation 12:11

These beloved saints overcame Satan by standing firm in the love Christ demonstrated for them, I mean- in the face of opposition, they did not doubt His love. They testified that Christ did not die for nothing. They testified of what His blood accomplished for them and for the whole world.
They testified to God, to themselves, to others, to angels and even to devils. They testified of the mighty finished works of Christ, and their testimony worked for them mighty victories. With their faith, they quenched the fiery darts of the wicked, they stopped the mouth of the devourer, and put to flight the opposer. Instead of conforming and yielding to circumstances, they rather made circumstances conform to the facts of their testimony. What a life they lived!
Beyond, believing in the love Christ demonstrated for them, they reciprocated His love - they loved Him back - "they loved not their lives unto the death."

When we stand in that love and affirm that we are the objects of its supply, protection, kindness, favour, goodness become our portion... That's our victory in Jesus name. Alleluia.

MY CONFESSION
My testimony is my victory. God's love set me free from sin and death and has made me a new creature superior to Satan and all his works. I have the victory.
