I am an EX FORMULA FORD Race Car Driver....55 Races) and believe me , THIS car is Never Boring...Never stops putting a real smile on my face ! The Real Problem with this car ( ready? ) is trying to get out of a gas station, shopping center,, supermarket, etc. without being accosted by admiring crowds of people asking questions , taking pictures, honking horns and giving me Thumbs Up !..I once had a Pennsylvania State Police car, up in the Poconos, pull me over to see the car ( he used the excuse that it was a " routine sobriety test" .. smelled my breath ( I don't drink) and proceeded to spend 5 minutes asking me about my car !!...I bought the car immaculate in 2000 and have had a 24 year Love Affair ! It is on its 2nd New Motor ( many mods plus HP Apex Seals which are good for at least 150,000 miles ).. I always purchase high performance upgrades rather than Original Manufacturer , that I get from the RX7 King of Upgrades....RACING BEAT in Calif. ...During the last 25K to 45K miles ago, I did a complete Trans/ Diff Overhaul and installed New HP Front Struts and KYB AGX ADJ. Shocks at all 4 wheels... and then in June 2017 to March 2018 I personally did a complete Exterior/Interior CUSTOM MODIFICATION of the complete car.. I purchased after market DURAFLEX Fiberglass Widebody Panels for the COMPLETE Front End and Rear Quarter Panels as well as an all aluminum Turbo Hood... and then for the next 9 months I proceed to rebuild the car( myself) from the ground up ! ( the only things original are the 2 doors and trunk ). When the body was done , it was off to the paint shop for fine tuning of my sculpturing and then the new color ---2007 to 2009 Corvette Atomic Orange... then put everything together that was stripped for painting...then off to the upholstery shop to get a new Convertible Top...Then back to my home where I Totally Stripped the Interior ( goodbye seats, door panels, carpets, steering wheel and all trim) and custom built the interior from the inside out ! WHEW !! Since spring of 2021 I have installed a New Clutch ... New Exhaust System... and in September of 2021 I purchased New NICHE HP 18" Wheels/ NITTO 555 Ultra HP Tires ( F-245 /40s and R-265/35s ... and I could have gone even wider !! )..In October of 2022 I decided to take a long ride in my Rx7 and left my apartment in ATLANTIC CITY, toured 10 States, then made it to Mexico where I toured Mexico , then kept on going to Belize !..I toured Belize and made it to a lovely beach resort area called Placencia, Belize.. It turned out to be a 3500 mile ride, the RX7 performed flawlessly throughout the trip and while in Placencia, I fell in Love with Belize !.... SO I DECIDED TO STAY !! I have been living here in Placencia for 18 months now , renting a home right on the Caribbean ... Trust me it is Heaven !... Unfortunately there are very few roads in Belize where one can enjoy a hardcore sports car like the Rx7 ! Most roads are dirt/ gravel with only 4 national highways that are " reasonably " paved.. Belize is great for motorcycles/ dirt bikes and 4 wheel drive vehicles but for fear of gradually destroying the chassis of my RX7 , so I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL IT !! ....I will REALLY miss it but it is not an appropriate vehicle for Belizean roads .. Let me see a show of hands of all those Americans who are retired ?... semi retired?.. on a fixed income pension or SS ?..., who is close to retirement ?,... have an Online business or even a physical business that can be run remotely ??...I suspect that if you have not been blessed with immense wealth, statistically you are having INCREASED DIFFICULTY AFFORDING TO LIVE IN THE USA ???...Well if you all have been doing your homework ( don't worry , there will not be a surprise quiz ! ) you probably know that more than 70% of working Americans as of 2023 are now living paycheck to paycheck !.. The Federal Reserve Banks have now declared that Most Americans have now exhausted all of their savings ! An alarming number of Americans are now using their CREDIT CARDS to pay for food, rent, mortgages., insurance, medical bills...NECESSITIES !! Many have to choose to buy food for their families or put gasoline in their tanks !.. More than 75% of Americans would have difficulty raising $500 cash in an emergency !...Most 20s and 20 plus year olds and college grads are having difficulty with their finances plus coming up with their college loan payments and are being forced to move back with their parents!...AND 2024 IS SET TO BE MUCH MUCH WORSE !!..Thousands of businesses have or are in the process of going bankrupt .. Now that interests rates are climbing , hundreds of banks are stuck having made poor loan decisions like they did in 2008 with the housing mortgage crash.. This time they are burdened even more so with a huge commercial real estate crash as well as the collapse of the auto industry and huge numbers of people not being able to make their car payments...Starting in March we will see large numbers of banks going bankrupt, similar but much greater than the bank failures of March 2023.. !! This time the Federal Government can not come to the rescue because we are now 34 TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEPT....THAT IS TRILLION WITH A T ! The Interest alone on this enormous debt this year will be ONE TRILLION DOLLARS...MORE THAN THE WHOLE DEFENSE BUDGET !.. This is on top of the yearly MULTI TRILLION DOLLAR deficit (read OVERSPENDING ) that our politicians uncaringly enjoy overburdening on future generations !!... Since most countries are no longer willing to buy our debt ( LEND US MONEY ) due to our terrible long history of bullying other nations with our HEGEMONY FOREIGN POLICY OF INSTIGATING AND CARRYING OUT WARS OF CONQUEST ALL OVER THE WORLD ! ....the Federal Reserve will once again be forced to PRINT more " monopoly money " ..TRILLIONS $$... and of course this will greatly INCREASE INFLATION and make EVERYTHING way more expensive and crash the value of our CURRENCY !.........So what is a RETIREE to do ????? .. Well by early 2022 , after years of research, including countless websites of economists, macro economists, political scientists, social scientists, historians, religious leaders, medical and scientific research, tons of commentary by people on social media....I had come to the conclusion that a HUGE ICEBERG was on the horizon and it was time to find my LIFEBOAT !!!.. I knew conclusively that America ( all of America including Canada) WAS the TITANIC....So in the early months of 2022 , I started looking for a new home and a New Country. It had to be English speaking because I was running out of time to become proficient in a new language. It had to be a country with a low population density and highly agricultural or at least to have the potential to grow plenty of food for its population.. It had to have a tropical climate because the growing cost of energy and therefore heating costs on the international market had to be a non issue. In addition , because of the looming world wide recession, it had to currently have a much lower cost of living than what I had been experiencing in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Security and a relatively peaceful and crime free population was certainly of major importance..There should also be mechanisms in the society for one to invest time, hard work , money and due diligence so as to be able to prosper in the community..and of course the government should guarantee a reasonable amount of freedom and be reasonably corrupt !..... and finally, since I had recently spent months and months and money to build and customize my car.. I was hoping to DRIVE to my new country....but it would not be a game changer...Well after considering about a half dozen countries......THE WINNER WAS......BELIZE !!...I soon started perusing dozens of You Tube videos of Belize and decided THIS PLACE WAS FRIGGIN GORGEOUS !!!!....Well, it is now Feb. 19, 2023... and I AM IN LOVE with this place !

So consider me your personal Scout and Paul Revere all wrapped up in a rebellious, reformed smart ass, short ( well figure 5' 7 and 1/2" ), bald, fitness/health buff package..........Paul Revere ? ..because instead of THE BRITISH ARE COMING, more like a World Depression is coming with certain countries facing imminent collapse and sinking into the sea, metaphorically speaking of course....and what will happen in America will be a real life enactment of some of Hollywood's Finest Disaster Movies.. Welcome to my new life in my Paradise named BELIZE ! I left my old life in Springfield, Pennsylvania on October 1, 2022 in search of a new land that could once again restore in my life the promise of Peace, Sanity, Security and a revived fulfillment of Prosperity ! I had left my beloved USA with much disappointment and regret . Having been a devoted student for more than 30 years of American economics, politics and history as well as our interrelationships with other nations, it was pretty obvious that metaphorically speaking, America was the TITANIC on its way to having an intimate relationship with the ICEBERG ! It was therefore my goal to desperately search for my LIFEBOAT ! I arrived in Placencia, Belize on the evening of October 11, 2022..... having driven my 1988 Mazda RX7 sports car, loaded to the gills with my 2 Cats and most of my wordly possessions, having driven 3400 sports car brutal miles....and with a turn of my ignition key, stepped out of my car to be welcomed by the fragrant , balmy breezes coming off the Caribbean, to my new home right on the beach !...After 4 months, I can report that BELIZE is a fine , stout and seaworthy LIFEBOAT !!

As I was about to cross the border from TEXAS into Mexico, I paused for a short while , looked back and said to myself "Are you sure you know what you are doing? You are LEAVING AMERICA ! "..I could have changed my mind right then and there...I had just driven through 10 gorgeous STATES, some that I had never been to.. I absolutely LOVE the USA.....but I did not love what America had become....A Nation that was once THE GOLD STANDARD OF THE WORLD for DEMOCRACY and FREEDOM was now far from being Democratic or Free...Our political system had become irreparably dysfunctional and engaged in a constant power struggle, losing sight of its prime directive to be servants of its Citizens rather than the other way around ! Morality, Truth, Honor and LOVE FOR OUR CREATOR had become just words on a placard rather than GUIDING LIGHTS !..An utterly corrupt system had left TRILLIONS of DOLLARS of DEBT to be saddled onto our CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN and dozens of generations to come...Crime had reached epidemic proportions with the perpetrators protected while the VICTIMS were demonized ! We permitted more than 30 MILLION PEOPLE to invade our now NON EXISTENT borders.....not having a clue as to who or where they might be....Good people ? Bad People ? Terrorists ? Drug Dealers ? Human Traffickers? Enemy Nation Combatants ? ...only time will tell....We have printed so much " monopoly money" to pay our debts that our currency has become so watered down that it will soon be worth a small fraction of what it was even a few years ago !! Leading to huge PRICE INCREASES in everthing in our society !....and what is even worse ( if that is possible ) ... Our politicians seem obsessed with THRUSTING US into a war with MULTIPLE ADVERSARIES who together WILL NOT FLINCH.... BEFORE we do.... and so ... I crossed the Border into Mexico... and then with a HUGE SMILE on my face....crossed the border into BELIZE.....and now I NEVER LOOK BACK.....Come join me before it is too late...do not ever live in a country that DOES NOT RESPECT AND HONOR ITS CITIZENS !.. even if the country is the USA

As I mentioned in my introductory post to this new site, I departed from my beloved USA in early October of 2022 to resettle in Placencia , Belize, not so much to JUST enjoy the obvious hedonistic lifestyle of being on vacation 365 days a year in an absolutely gorgeous tropical paradise ! Although to be quite honest, for the past 4 months, every morning that I wake up, I look out my window and see and listen to the breathtaking sights and sounds of the Caribbean just 50 yards from my window ! And I ask myself, " Am I STILL on vacation ? "...and immediately think " When am I going home ? "... and Always the answers in my head ..."Yes, Thank GOD." and..."You ARE home !!."...What a GREAT way to start each day !!! And in the past 4 months since early October, 9 mornings out of 10 are absolutely glorious and as of early February, the days have mostly been in the low 80s and the nights have been in the low 70s, with the Caribbean being always in the upper 70s to low 80s !! I haven't had to snow shovel a single walk or driveway like I did regularly in Pennsylvania !..I just can't imagine a place being more perfect.....in the winter ! Unless you love to ski and ice skate !! But NO ! My primary motivations were based on careful and intense research in early to mid 2022 and falling back additionally on my intense interests for 30 years in USA history, politics and economics and interrelationships internationally..My observations led me to conclude that America was in serious Economic, Moral and Spiritual DECLINE.. America was the TITANIC....We had collided with the ICEBERG....We were Going Down Quickly and I chose BELIZE, ultimately, to be MY LIFEBOAT !......My future Posts will contrast my New Life in BELIZE and all the great advantages, POSITIVE QUALITY OF LIFE advantages and how incredibly cheap it is to live here ! I had no idea till I found out for myself ! VERSUS ....what I left in the USA !

With the Russian Spring Offensive well on its way in the Ukraine, which has now lost almost half its population through death and mass migrations fleeing the country and its infrastructure virtually destroyed, Russia and China will focus its war against NATO and especially the USA with heightened cyber attacks and a devastating Economic attack on our fragile economy...Our enemies certainly smell the blood in the water...with funded debt already at over 31 TRILLION and future unfunded Pensions, Medicare and Social Security WELL OVER $100 TRILLION !!!!,soon the interest on our debt will surpass $1 TRILLION PER YEAR ( that is JUST the interest) which will be greater than what we pay each year to finance our Defense Budget...to say this is a Disaster is being very gracious..Personal debt is also approaching ONE TRILLION ! Presently 63% of all Americans are living Paycheck to Paycheck with huge numbers of Millenials moving back with their parents...In an emergency 71% of Americans could not raise $1000 cash and 53% can not raise $400 !!! Due to the fast devaluation of our dollar, inflation is forcing a growing number of Americans to use their Credit Cards to pay for food, utilities, insurance ... and even rent and mortgage payments.. We will soon be seeing major bank failures and we have all noticed malls and major retail stores going bankrupt or closing large percentages of their national stores ! The auto industry ,both New and Used are showing major slowdowns and expect major drops this year in Home Prices and of course the Stock Market....to make matters EVEN WORSE ( is that even possible? ) we will soon lose our lofty 75 year dominance of all the world's economies of being the WORLD'S RESERVE CURRENCY ( this is complicated so look this up ) .. The BRICS Nations( Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa ) are getting DOZENS of Nations to get together and organize a New World Currency backed by GOLD to compete with the USA Dollar and EURO.. Soon as much as 80 % of THE WORLDS POPULATION will do business ... Without US ! These countries are sick and tired of our WORLD HEGEMONY Aspirations and history of not honoring our agreements, INSTIGATING WARS and soon not to pay our bills with REAL MONEY...When BRICS is all set to go, Trillions of USA dollars will come back to flood our domestic markets and render our dollars almost worthless....Inflation wil skyrocket and America will collapse..Even before this happens, our enemies who have been invading our southern borders for years, will invoke cyber attacks on our electrical grid( 106 attacks on our grid already occurred last year between Jan. and Aug. )...blow up food processing plants ( already begun) .. disrupt our airports/ air flights( already begun)....Destroy railroads ( how about that chemical disaster in East Palestine, Ohio ? )....cyber attacks on our banking system.....and of course the majority of Americans will bury their heads in the sand....Believe the politicians and talking heads on national television telling us EVERYTHING IS GREAT and Under Control and go on worrying about who will be the new quarteback for the BUCS ! ....... and THAT is why ..... I MOVED TO BELIZE !

Well , tomorrow will be 4 months that I have been living in Belize and if I have learned anything, I must take away from this experience a deep sense of gratitude... Sincere gratitude to GOD for leading me to what must be one of HIS personal Special Places On Earth ! Every morning I should wake and make sure I give THANKS TO GOD!...I made the right decision....I am IN LOVE with my new home..My new American, Canadian and Belizean Friends in my village laughingly warn me to Not Tell Anybody ! We don't want it to get TOO CROWDED IN PARADISE !....but I think there is still a little room to spare... Belize is roughly the size of New Jersey but it has only less than 500,000 people compared to NJ that has about 9,500,000 ...So NJ has 20 TIMES the number of people compared to Belize ! .....But brace yourselves, Belize has another secret that might start an American Stampede !... Before I moved to Belize last October, I spent a year living in Atlantic City, where I had a bargain priced luxury apartment at The Showboat Hotel, right on the Boardwalk...It was an All Inclusive( lots of free stuff) just pay rent 850 Sq. Ft one bedroom apartment on the 18th floor for only $1675 per month...Between my rent, food, car insurance and my other expenses, my monthly living expenses came to an average of $2650/ mo. over the course of one year...As of last summer there in AC, I purchased my mostly Organic diet from an ACME in Brigantine, NJ .. My average grocery bill including top quality food for my 2 Cats generally cost me between $700 to $750 per month...So how does living in the Highly Popular Tourist Destination, PLACENCIA PENINSULA, in Belize compare to Atlantic City ???......Well I am Pleasantly SHOCKED !...Since I moved here , I have been keeping careful accounting of my expenses...I have learned to source my foods from local growers and suppliers..The food is super fresh and very high quality...I also live in a fishing village so I get fresh caught fish and lobster delivered directly to my door ! I have even established a relationship with merchants that deliver fresh vegetables and fruits, baked goods and juices directly to my door 5 days per week..My grocery bills ( and my cats are eating better also ) have been averaging $300 to $350 per month !!!!.. So my living expenses including Rent, Utilities, Insurance and FOOD has now dropped to $1000 to $1050 per month !!! So my expenses have dropped from $2650/ mo in AC to $1050/ mo. in Belize.. That is a savings of 60 %.. It is astonishing.. I would have been happy with just Cheaper...living in such a wonderful Paradise...But 60% CHEAPER has a way of bringing my STRESS LEVELS... WAY Down low !
