Mindfulness isn't just about sitting in silence. It's about bringing a sense of awareness to your daily activities, whether that's cooking, walking, or even doing the dishes. Try incorporating mindful moments into your day to boost your well-being.
My favorite way to incorporate mindfulness is in watching the seeds turn into seedlings as they grow I take time to notice them first thing in the morning.
If you feel like your hanging by a thread you might be outside of your boundaries. Get back in the Gondola of Control.
Sometimes we push ourselves really hard to keep up to the other people around us and to push through what ever we're going through.....And just so you know, its okay to take a break and regroup.

Did you know that self-care is about thriving, not just surviving? Take time for yourself and prioritize your physical and mental well-being. When you start branching out and trying different self care activities feeling more like yourself is just one of the many benefits. With regular mindfulness practice, you can also experience a positive biological effect and feel better physically.
It's important to take care of ourselves, especially after experiencing trauma or getting diagnosed with an illness. This can mean setting boundaries, finding healthy coping mechanisms, and seeking support when needed.

Don't wait until you're burnt out to prioritize self-care. Use a scheduler to plan ahead and make time for the things that nourish your mind, body, and soul.
When we get stuck in magnifying or minimizing events and thoughts things start to get blown out of proportion. Magnification and minimization can distort your perspective and it's important to find a balanced view. In therapy we reflect back on the facts and feelings creating a way to see the events clearer. Remember, it's okay to have flaws and it's important to recognize and address them, but it's also important to recognize and appreciate your strengths.
One simple way to practice mindfulness is through deep breathing. Take a few minutes each day to focus on your breath, noticing just the sensation of the air entering and leaving your body. Let go of any distractions and just be present with your breath.
Its easy to get caught up in our devices and they're not altogether bad. We just tend to let them take us offline, and may need boundaries with them to create room for a bit of mindfulness to bring balance back into our lives.
