With his years of experience in the WD Heavy Duty Industry, he was able to adapt quickly to the dealer business side and become the Parts Lead Hand. Jigz consistently goes above and beyond with his level of care and lends a hand whenever needed making him an exceptional leader.

Last Saturday, Peterbilt Pacific Prince George celebrated an incredible milestone - Mike Warwaruk's retirement after an astounding 45 years with us!

Friends and colleagues travelled from the coast and Kamloops to join the festivities, showing just how much Mike has touched our lives. The highlight of the event? Mike unveiled his "Pete Rod," a labour of love he’s been building for the past 10 years, adding an extra sparkle to our show and shine! ✨

We're grateful to everyone who came out and supported each other during these challenging times.

We are excited to announce the opening of our newest full-service dealership in Kelowna, BC, effective September 2024. This marks Peterbilt Pacific’s first full-service location venture into the Okanagan Valley, enhancing our commitment to serving our customers across British Columbia.

Given that the new location will offer Sales, Parts, Service, PacLease, and Rentals, the existing TRP Parts store will cease operations once the new facility is operational, with all services being integrated into a single location. This consolidation will ensure customer convenience and accessibility.

This expansion brings our total to 10 full-service locations in BC, with over 370 dedicated employees. We are thrilled to reach this milestone and remain dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

Peterbilt Pacific’s strategic plan to reinforce our unwavering commitment to our safety program that protects our people, property, and the environment was recently announced. This continued mission to collaborate with all stakeholders to update, design, build and manage an effective continuum of safety and care is more important than ever. Maintaining a stable, healthy workforce, retaining our employees, and increasing their engagement in our company are a focus point for this commitment.

The goal of celebrating Safety Week is to develop a safety culture and deepen safety awareness among our employees through discussions and observations. Our managers in this way, set the example and show the way. Moreover, this is one of the tools we are implementing to achieve best practices for OHS company-wide. It is also a good opportunity to encourage our managers and employees to recognize and manage safety-related issues, and collaboratively brainstorm on these topics.
Safety and Health Week promotes the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home and in the community. At the end of the day, we work safely so we can come home to our family and friends.

We hope that this year’s enhanced focus on workplace safety continues to be part of our new normal and that we can use this as an opportunity to further improve health and safety in all our locations.
