We are delighted to announce that our lovely friend will be running another pole dancing skill share on August 10th at 7 pm!

Laura is an incredible performer and instructor who makes classes fun and relaxed for all levels of student, including absolute beginners.

Ideal attire would be things make you feel comfortable and are fun and easy to move in.
Bare skin allows for more grip points on the pole, so bottoms that end anywhere above the knee are best. If you wear a top then the smaller the better, but regular short-sleeves or tank tops work just fine too.
Heels, sequins and glitter highly encouraged!

Please let us know if you are interested in attending, or if you have any questions!

We are excited to announce will be running a Skill Share about bleach dying clothes on August 3rd at 6 pm!

Bleach dying means applying bleach to cloth with a paintbrush or using a stencil and a misting spray bottle to create a design. Swipe right to see some examples of things Maia has bleach dyed with a paintbrush. There's also a lot of amazing ideas online!

Please bring your own fabric or clothing to bleach and make sure they are:
1. Cotton
2. Just one colour without a pattern
3. Not a super light colour (otherwise the bleach might not show up well)

T-shirts work great! It's also fun to cut up sheets to make patches that can be sewn onto bags and coats.

Please let us know if you are interested in attending the workshop, or if you have any questions!

Always been curious to learn about the art of Pole Dancing but too afraid to try? Now’s your chance to ask all your questions and get a feel for this beautiful and fun practice in a judgement free zone. Come prepared to play and explore in a safe environment and free your inner dancer🕺🏻. Feel free to wear WHATEVER makes you feel most comfortable (costumes most welcome) with the note that bare skin is your tool to grip the pole and will allow you to do more tricks. (If you’re unsure, you can always dress in layers you can peel off or put on as needed).
Please rsvp to join and send any questions you may have to . See you Nov. 6th!

We are Hiring!

The Atangard Community Project (ACP) is a non-profit organization and community housing provider located in the heart of downtown Abbotsford. The ACP is a grassroots initiative that was created by a collaborative effort of friends, family and community working together to create an alternative living option that places an emphasis on relationships and community. The Atangard was created to be a place that would allow people to put time and energy into pursuing their passions, and to be a place that would inspire creativity and passion. Today, the Atangard is home to a group of young professionals and students that have been living together in an intentional community on the second level of the Fraser Valley Inn since September 2009. There are 19 rooms with private bathrooms, some with available double occupancy. Residents share a common kitchen area, dining room, lounge, and laundry facilities. The non-profit is managed by a volunteer board of directors who are also residents of the project and are seeking an Executive Director (residency not required) to help manage operations and plan for the future.

Overview of Role

The ED will be responsible primarily for overseeing the growth and development of the Atangard Community Project in seeking out a new home in Abbotsford. In addition to project management duties, the ED will be responsible for tasks related to the administration of the ACP Society. In conjunction with the bookkeeper and the board of directors, the ED will ensure that the financial records of the organization are accurate and kept up to date. The ED will be responsible for the completion of other office and administrative tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors.

In a typical week, the ED will spend approximately 10 hours working towards the long term goals of the organization, and approximately 5 hours on administrative work. The ED will work closely with the Board of Directors and will meet regularly with the President, Vice President and Treasurer.

The ideal candidate is creative, passionate about community development and alternative living, professional, self-motivated and organized. We are looking for someone who foresees themselves being part of the development of this Project on a long term basis.
