⭐Star Coach Shoutout⭐ Congratulations Coach Kaia! Kaia's gentle demeanour allows all students to feel comfortable and motivated in class. Her ability to include creative stations and adapt them for differing abilities is fantastic. Kaia coaches a wide variety of classes from pre-school, to school-age to subbing Stuntz. Considering Kaia has only been coaching for 6 months, we are all so impressed with how far she has come in such a short space of time! Kaia is now starting her advanced training. Way to Go 🤩

Thanks to everyone who came out to our Show your Shine event on June 9th. It was so amazing seeing all the hard work each student is putting into their gymnastics and was great to see all the smiles in the facility. ⭐ Star Coach Shoutout - Coach Courteney ⭐ Well done, Courteney! Courteney is a fantastic coach! Her technical knowledge and the rate of development in her students has been phenomenal. In particular, Courteney's effort to work on class management has lead to a significant improvement in her classes. Courteney also contributes lots at professional development opportunities and has a great rapport with the whole team. Thanks for being a Rock Star 🤩

Our second Leadership in Training (LIT) group is in session! This program focuses on identifying the qualities that make a good leader and how to develop and apply them to help with future employment opportunities and confidence. Basic gymnastics skills will be taught along with tips and techniques to pass on that information to other learners. Our aim is to help participants develop leadership skills that can be used, not just as a coach, but also throughout other aspects of student and work life to help identify and achieve goals. 10 years of Coach Rachel ❤️ Rachel has just celebrated her 10 years of coaching at Splitz and it has been such an amazing journey watching her grow into the coach she is today. Rachel has had many roles at Splitz, including starting off as a gymnast, helping lead bootcamps and training for our team, trained coaches in our advanced training program, and also received Splitz Coach of the Year for 2023. We are excited to see Rachel continue to grow in her role and are very grateful to have her on our team.

⭐Star Coach Shoutout⭐ Well done, Coach Danica! Danica has only been coaching her own classes for a couple of months. However, we have been thoroughly impressed by her continued development and coaching approach. From her adorable Tiny Starz voice to the energy she brings to Splitz Starz, Danica smashes every program she coaches! Danica completed our "Leadership in Training" program in the Fall and since starting, has shown maturity, dedication and great communication. Way to go, Coach Danica!

Less than two weeks away until our Shine Bright Showcase! Shine Bright is an interdisciplinary event, which will celebrate movement, fitness, and the diversity of sport across multiple disciplines. This year’s theme for Shine Bright is “Lift Each Other Up” and we can’t wait to see all the routines the students have been working so hard on! T-10 days until our 2nd Annual Shine Bright!

Kieran has been apart of our Splitz team for over 10 years and has built so many amazing relationships with our staff and his students. His knowledge and expertise in both gymnastics and parkour has been an integral part in the growth of our programs and it has been so amazing to see all of the wonderful talent that has come out of his classes. Sadly, Kieran will be taking a step back from coaching, however will remain on the sub list and will forever be apart of our Splitz family🫶🏻

Last year, Splitz started a new tradition providing the opportunity for any current graduating member to apply for our Bright Futures Splitz Scholarship. We will be continuing on with this new tradition and look forward to all the applications that come through.

⭐ Star Coach Shout Out - Coach Izzy ⭐ Izzy is one of our most sought-after coaches, bringing energy and animation to all her classes. Her dedication to student development is to be admired. Researching and devising creative drills has helped contribute to this in her own classes, as well as help other coaches too. Izzy has also stepped into the office over the past year and become a vital part of our senior team! Enthusiasm and outlining student success by ringing the bell are areas that propel Izzy from not just being a good coach, but a great coach! Thank you for all of your hard work and commitment Izzy. Keep being a legend!
