We are so thrilled to share this beautiful backyard oasis.
Decking, walkway, pergola and back fill created a new escape in the heart of downtown Toronto.
We will be back in the spring to add even more to this garden area.

Original builder carpeted stair runner over oak staircase had become worn and weathered over time. The carpet was removed and blemishes touched up to virtually invisibility.

New step tread style mats that the homeowner adored were installed and aligned with the beautiful curvature of the the staircase to create a warm, inviting vibe to Crystals & Reiki with Lisa B. store front and home.

This room had painted over 1980s era faux wood paneling. Poor framing and drop ceiling hiding aluminum wiring that would make any electrician cringe.
To the customers request, we gutted it back to the stud work. Sistered any unplumb studs and any unlevel joists. All the electrical was ripped out and re-run to new breakers. The duct work was diverted from the ceiling to the wall cavities.
The extremely unjulated and sloped floors were leveled to perfection utilizing a sleeper style framing over a proper vapour barrier.
All walls were re-drywalled and potlights installed in a gorgeous 8 sided elongated octagon layout. A bulkhead was built to enclose the duct work. The ducts were reworked from the kitchen side to this living room. Potlights were installed here to accommodate the writers desk and entertainment area of the room.
The basboards and shoe mould were coped and returned to the walls were necessary instead of simply painting over a blunt butt cut trim end. The windows were modified with custom milled and routered-on-site sills and cove round mouldings beneath the classic colonial casings.
The room was painted in "hush " matte Marquee matte enamel paint to give the room a dusty and soft feel suitable for any occupant to seek refuge.
