As the weather gets colder, so do fingers and toes.

We are currently in dire need of hand and foot warmers for our programs to ensure that people stay warm.

Did you know you can create a fundraising page on our Canada Helps charity page? That's right! You can create a page to share with everyone you know to fundraise for things like SIPS for S.H.I.F.T., birthdays, or any fundraising idea you have. How cool is that?

Today, we invite everyone across the country to recognize and observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a day to reflect on the painful and lasting impacts of residential schools in Canada, and to honour survivors, their families, and their communities.

Did you know that, on average, we have over 275 visits to our Outreach van, over 100 visits to our drop-in, and are seeing a capacity of 75-100% for shelter beds each month?

As our programs and service see a steady increase in service users, please consider making S.H.I.F.T. your charity of choice the next time you donate.

We are working on a goal of attaining 10 monthly donors to help us support the needs of many who access our programs and services. Your support can truly help someone make a shift for good in their circumstances.

For as little as $10 a month, you can provide someone with a gift of meals for a day or help someone with basic hygiene for a month. Don't forget your donations are also eligible for a tax receipt.
