💭🤔 Has anyone else experienced a bad reaction to synthetic fragrance?

I find it really interesting how a lot of laundry brands promote products (mainly scent boosters) that will keep your clothes smelling like that product for several days when the “scent” that your clothes are holding on to is just a concoction of harsh, toxic chemicals

How can they be promoting this as a good thing when that means you’re breathing it in longer and it’s getting absorbed into your skin?

It amazes me how we can so easily fall for this type of marketing (and hey, I was totally that person in the past!).

But now that we know better and know what the immediate and long term affects of these ingredients are - skin irritation, eczema, headaches, endocrine disruption, asthma etc., we can make the conscious choice to choose our health over temporary pleasure

All Purpose Cleaner or Disinfecting Multi-Surface Cleaner 🤔 -- Which one do I use?!

Using an All Purpose Cleaner is great for everyday cleaning:
🧽 Wiping down tables and counters
🧽 Cleaning up spills and messes
🧽 Tackling heavy dust
🧽 Cleaning up visible dirt, grime, food and stains on surfaces
+ Much more!

You'll want to use a Disinfectant Spray when it comes to high traffic areas & surfaces that accumulate more bacteria such as:

🦠 Toilets, tubs and bathroom counters
🦠 Kitchen counters after raw meat has come in contact with it

some of you may have noticed that I've been absent off social media for awhile

this was intentional

I realized a few weeks back that I needed a break when my mental health took a sharp decline

you may have heard by now how this year has been really tough on small businesses

the enthusiasm we benefited from in 2020/2021 for supporting local really wore off in 2022

so that, combined with inflation and economic turmoil, unfortunately sales have plummeted

I kept telling myself I would see it through to the end of the year to see if it picked up or took a turn for the better over the holidays

the truth is - it hasn't

the truth is - I can't continue to operate this way without making some drastic changes

I'm not completely giving up, but in order for this business to continue I will be making some big adjustments to product line up, operations and most likely our physical store location

the first thing we'll be doing is eliminating our baby & kids section of the marketplace, as well as adult clothing

all of these products will marked for clearance so we can open up shelving space and reduce storage

clearance of these items is active as of NOW on our website

quantities, colours/styles and sizes of each item are very limited and imagine with a discount this large, items will go quickly

I appreciate all of your support over the past 3 years

Hopefully this shift will help us to continue offering our products in a sustainable model
