You'd look great on my team!

For the next few weeks, Wasa Nabin is investing some of our time fundraising for an event we are getting involved with - the Coldest Night of the Year.

Please consider joining our team - Barrie Native Friendship Centre and walk with us on Saturday, February 24.

The Coldest Night of the Year is a walk that raises money for folks in our community who need our help. Some of them hungry, more than a few hurting and regrettably, some who are homeless too. Adults, moms and kids, seniors and youth as well.

CNOY is a lot of fun and so valuable - would you join us? Just click our team page link below to begin.

No Fee Foot Care Clinic for:
• Indigenous People with Diabetes or Peripheral Arterial Disease
• No access to foot care (e.g., no health insurance or money to pay for foot care)

Taking care of your feet is very important if you have Diabetes or Peripheral Arterial Disease. This helps prevent problems that could lead to losing parts of your legs or feet. Losing parts of your legs or feet is called a lower-limb amputation.

Problems with your feet can include things like rough spots on your skin (calluses); not being able to feel your legs, feet, or toes; toenails that are not taken care of; pain in the legs, ankles or feet; sores that keep coming back or take a long time to heal; or if you've already had part of your toe or foot removed.

You can sign up by calling 705-794-6023.
