For the month of August (until after Labour day) the office will be by appointment only). We will still be going in, but likely bringing the kids with us. Hope you're having an amazing summer so far!!!

Ryan will be going on "holiday" starting Friday, June 16th and returning to the office Tuesday, June 27th. The office will be open for drop offs and pickups next week on Tuesday and Wednesday 930-3pm.

Firstly we would like to thank all of our customers for the busiest tax season that we have ever had as a company. Every year we grow, and you make it possible.
I would also like to thank my staff for the incredible amount of work completed (with work still to come).

The office will be closed today and tomorrow to give time to decompress. We will be reverting to reduced office hours, however you can still reach us through email or phone. (hours to be updated in the coming days though Thursday will be 9:30am-3pm).

Again, thank you to everyone from family to friends, and customers to followers. We couldn't do what we do without you.

Good evening all. We will be making some adjustments to our open hours next week, some days will not change:

Monday, April 24th - 9:30-5:00
Tuesday, April 25th - 9:30-5:00
Wednesday, April 26th - 9:30-6:00
Thursday, April 27th - 9:30-5:00
Friday, April 28th - 9:30-6:00
Saturday, April 29th - Closed
Sunday, April 30th - Closed
Monday, May 1st - 9:30-5:30

Also, as every year we will be setting our own deadline to guarantee filing on time as Tuesday, April 25th. We will still be taking packages after this date, however they will have no guarantee to be filed by the deadline.

We thank everyone for their patronage this year as it has been our busiest yet (and we still have 13 days left!)

Due to a scheduling issue the office will be closed early at 3pm today for pickups. We will re-open tomorrow at 9:30am as regularly scheduled.

"The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Union of Taxation Employees (UTE) are launching nationwide strike votes for more than 35,000 workers at Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) after talks broke down over wages and remote work. Strike votes will be conducted from January 31 to April 7, 2023"

What this means to you as a tax filing taxpayer (if the workers go on strike):

1) there will likely be no one to answer phone calls
2) there will likely be no one to process refunds
3) there will likely be no one

4) taxes WILL likely still have to be filed by April 30th
5) amounts due WILL still be due April 30th

How can you help yourself IF the strike happens?

Get your paperwork filed as soon as you are able, by the end of March or just after. If you don't, they'll still be filed and still be on time, but there won't likely be answers or refunds in the meantime.

Definitely happens a lot during tax season. I am now "I need to stretch before I get out of bed" years old.

This sticky note has been on my office door since last summer. I don't know who left it, nor do I know if it was left specifically for me or not. The message resonates with me every time I enter the office and I try to make the note right each day.
