It’s Wednesday!!!

Baked the most delicious sourdough loaf last night. Made from my starter. It’s almost gone already this morning. 😩 I may have witnessed a family member cut a slice, hold it to his nose and take 3 deep sniffs before buttering. ❤️My family is in love.

I’m on my journey. This 125 year old heritage starter is just one of the amazing local products we carry in store. Kristy has videos on her IG that guide you through every step. Now excuse me while I stretch and fold 🤤

Happy overflow day! Day 6 and my starter is so happy it’s busting at the seams. Tomorrow is day 7 and soon I can make bread!

I have decided it was time to do the starter. This is my happy starter on day 5. The pink line is where it started this morning! Wowza! So excited to be on my sourdough journey. Kristy’s instructions are so easy to follow and she has tonnes of resources on her IG page.

We visited yesterday. What a magical place. You get a tour of her lovely property and then get to take your time cutting flowers for your own bouquet. Not many days left for the season, so go out and experience this.
