At MOVE, our Massage Therapists are an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. Heavily focused on tissue health, mobility, extensibility, and overall function.

Welcome, RMT - Taylor Oesch!!

Taylor grew up in Southwestern, Ontario, off the shores of Lake Huron!

She went on to Georgian College, to pursue Massage Therapy as a career. After graduating, she traveled abroad to Tralee - Ireland, gaining a Bachelors of Science Degree (Honours) in Health and Exercise Science, with Massage Therapy, at Munster Technological University!

Taylor utilizes an individual approach to treatments, as she understands that every individual has different needs.

Taylor starts the week of November 4th!

National Truth & Reconciliation Day 🟠 🪶

Today honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.

We are open today, and will be donating a portion of our revenue to local Indigenous Awareness & Cultural Groups.

All of our Physios are now able to order plane film x-rays! Which are then covered by MSI - provincial health coverage.

Should your physiotherapist believe an x-ray is warranted after:

•Hearing the history of your injury / pain
•Performing a thorough objective assessment
•Taking into account researched & established guidelines for imaging

Then they can order them as part of your treatment/care!

CONCUSSION BASELINES 🧠

Last evening we had the in for their annual pre-season Concussion Baseline Testing! This is the 9th year the Macs have competed this testing as an entire team, placing a significant importance on player safety!

Concussion Baseline testing is a pivotal aspect of our return to sport decision making, post concussion 🤕. It was recommend by the most recent International Consensus Statement on Concussion in Sport (6th) - Amsterdam (Oct 2022).

We will be completing Baseline Testing with more of our Team Partnerships in the next few weeks!
