I have to say she does such a good job taking proper care of her lashes. Having good lash retention is not just about proper application and good products. It's also about proper aftercare. She washes them with lash shampoo morning & night to make sure there is no makeup, skin oils, or environmental dirt build up around the lash line. She brushes them and avoids heat. She doesn't use any oil based products that break down the adhesive and avoids twisting and pulling them out. 🙌

Having a full set of lashes can take 2hrs and as much as I love to share pictures of my work I also don't want to consume more of my the client's time while trying to capture the perfect shot. So long story short, I haven't quite mastered taking professional photos of my work yet 😅 but I am trying to get better at it.

When doing a new client, I always try my best to give them the outcome they desire. Sometimes, they want natural, and other times, they want rock and roll eye lashes, and some clients are somewhere in between the two. Communication is so important. I'm always gathering information. What is the occasion? Do they want an easier morning routine? Do they have a photo shoot? 📸 Do they have a photo of lashes they desire?... There are so many things to consider; it really is an art.

- Eye shape
- Hooded eyelids
- Do they wear glasses
- Strength, length, and shape of their own lashes

Today, I had a new client who was looking for a nice calm and private place to have a pedicure. A quiet place without the fumes of a regular nail salon for her and her baby to relax. It made me think about the different things we look for during the different chapters of our lives and reminded me of just how nurturing this space is for that.
