How do I provide physical support as your doula?

I am trained in pressure points, birthing positions and partner lead poses! 🧘🏽‍♀️

Making labouring naturally smoother, letting you hold off getting medication for a while or all together!

I can be the physical presence not leaving your side, to get you snacks, water, ice or your favourite fuzzy socks. 🧦

How would I provide emotional support as your doula?

Great question! 😃

My main priority during labour and delivery is to create a calm, safe and comfortable environment for the mother to give birth in no matter the setting. 🏨🏠

I adjust to what you need emotionally, whether that be word of encouragement, compassion or empathy.

As a doula my role is to serve you and help you every minute of the process. 😊

Hello! If you haven’t seen my face before, I am Bryanna the Passion Births Doula!

I am a mom of 3 children, 5 and under! I have always had a passion and curiosity about pregnancy, babies, birth and breastfeeding. My friends around me would laugh when they’d see how my face lit up talking about their births and breastfeeding journeys. I knew I wanted babies of my own and I also knew I wanted to help other mothers. I dove into all the options, lactation consultant, midwife, etc. I love those options and it may be something I venture down in the future. The more I thought about being a doula and researched the job description and effectiveness of a doula I fell in love. Instantly I knew this was something I’d love to do. I am so excited to be fully certified in February 2023.

Alongside my doula journey I’ve decided to add in placenta encapsulation, I always wished I found someone to turn my placenta into pills because my postpartum depression was the worst thing I’ve ever battled. I’d love to make the option available for every mom I’m around to be able to take their placenta, an ancient Chinese practice.
