Today, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, Canada celebrates the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
This day, observed on June 21, recognizes the unique heritage and diverse cultures of Indigenous communities across the country. It is a time for all Canadians to reflect on the history, learn about the enduring resilience of Indigenous peoples, and work towards reconciliation and a more inclusive future.

Our wonderful SMARTstart program for entrepreneurs has come to an end.
We thank each mentor and entrepreneur for participating in this project! It wasn't easy, but everyone learned a lot and gained invaluable experience. We wish our entrepreneurs prosperity both in business and in personal life!

It was a very tough decision to determine the winners, as each child did an enormous amount of work and each one is special in their own way. We are grateful to every participant and every parent who supported their child and guided them in the right direction.

📢 Urgent Donation Request for Our Shelter! 📢

We're reaching out today because our Shelter is in need of some essential items, and we hope you can help!

We’re looking for:

👘 Housecoats (robes) for all sizes and genders. We also have teen boys up to age 17 who need adult men sizes!

👶 Pajamas and sleepers for toddlers up to age 3 – both boys and girls.

👦👧 Pajamas for boys and girls aged 14-16.

👩 Women’s size small PJs.

Donations can be dropped off 24/7 at our Shelter. Just give our Helpline a call at 780-594-3353. For larger clothing drives or bigger drop-offs, please contact us at 780-826-9875.

You can also leave your donation at our Bonnyville Outreach Office, located inside Community Futures Lakeland (5024-50 Ave Bonnyville) opened during regular office hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm).
