Another high level thrower getting some work in this off season at HBF!!!! This pitcher already has a solid foundation, but with a few tweaks, and mechanical adjustments, we will have the list elite pitcher at the top of his game in time for spring training!

A few inches can make a massive difference!!! Hitting the ball a little further out front allows for full extension, and driving the ball harder to the big part of the park. Pic 1 let's the ball travel a little deep, where Pic 2 shows what it looks like to get it out front!!

Lots of footwork being worked on tonight at HBF!!!!! Staying in the lane, and driving towards the pitcher can make a huge difference between getting a hit, or swinging and missing. These young hitters working hard to correct that footwork for success!

Friday night fielding fundamentals!!!! These boys are absolutely fantastic to work with!!! 5 consecutive days of hard work and fine tuning their skills to get ready for try outs next week!!! They both did incredibly well and will have the coaches attention for sure!!! Well done boys!!!

What a day at HBF!!!! Today was a lot of fun working with a young athlete preparing to go to his first year of pitching, another pitcher finding ways to increase his velocity, and a true switch hitter as well!!! These athletes continue to work extremely hard and have a lot of fun in the process!!!! Great job!!!

1st day of school? No chance!!!! The "power" of education continues at HBF!!!! These athletes are gearing up for tryouts, and are ready to crush their goals, including my youngest athlete who has just turned 9!!!! No rest for these determined individuals!!!

Work hard to the end!! The 13UAA team battled hard winning their first two games today, and were eliminated in the last game of the day. These players should be proud of everything they have accomplished this season, including this weekends OBA finals - finishing 6th in Ontario. Hold your heads high, Bradford!

This athlete worked hard during his first session at HBF!!!! He wasn't happy with his bat this season, and was looking for advice on improvements. We retooled the swing, and started to understand the mechanics behind effective hitting!!! Great work!!!! I look forward to the next session!!!!

Throwing Thursday at HBF!!!! With tryouts around the corner, there were many pitchers coming by today to work on their craft!!! Worked a lot of mechanics, and achieved se new personal bests in terms of velocity!!!! Well done guys!!!!

Relentless - that's all I can say about this kid - 3 more days until the oba championships, and he's still grinding!! Never satisfied and expects better of himself every day!!

A little late on this post, but day 3 of Aberdeen was fantastic!!! Not the finish we wanted, but placing 8th out of 12 teams in the US is no small feat!!!! I am so proud of this team, and everything they accomplish!!

Day 2 of the Aberdeen experience. Our team fought hard and held on tight against a 14U team, finishing with an 8-4 win! Go Storm Go!

Day 1 in Aberdeen, MD. 1st game at "Yankee Stadium". Wasn't the outcome we wanted, but what an incredible experience!!! Amazing fields and incredible complex!! With game 1 jitters out of the way, tomorrow will be an exciting game!!!

Day 2 of the trip brings HBF to Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia!!!! New perspective on the game from home run alley!!!! 2 days, 2 amazing parks!!! Can't wait to see what day 3 brings!!!

For years, my wife has not loved baseball other than watching her kids play and enjoy the sport. After 30 minutes, my new student is finding a true appreciation for the game and the finer mechanics of a swing!!! This is truly what HBF is all about - having fun and learning along the way. It doesn't matter what your skill level, or competition level is - just have fun and enjoy the game!!!

This athlete was looking to fine tune some pitching mechanics going into tryouts in a couple of weeks. We took the off balance stride (Pic 1) and got him going down the lane straight at the batter with a few minor adjustments. (Pic 2). End result - more consistent location, and a consistent velocity 9mph higher!!!! Not bad for an hour!!!! Great work!!!

The grind never stops for this athlete!!! 1 week to go until she represents Team Ontario at Nationals, and still looking to fine tune the swing!!!! Keep the winning streak alive JS11!!!!!

I've been working with this athlete for over 3 years, and I'm still amazed by the crazy bat speed!!! One of the fastest swings I've seen!!! He's cleaned up so much in this swing, and truly produces power on the field!! Great job FP9!!!!!

"Hey coach, I feel like I'm not hitting as well as I should be" We took a distant stance, and brought him in to the plate more, and forced his hands to stay in to avoid "casting" end result was a cleaner swing, with more plate coverage as well as a more confident hitter who is now "barreling the ball for power" Great job!!!

HBF back to the grind today!!! This young athlete has serious goals going into tryouts! We have worked some throwing technique to get better control and velocity - 2 weeks in, and he's crushing the velocity goal with much better throwing mechanics!!!!! Keep working hard young man!!!
