i have soooooo many photos and videos on my phone that take up a ridiculous amount of space, and i need to get rid of some, so i’m just gonna chuck them on here and not overthink it anymore. 🙌🏻

reds are intimidating! and so much more permanent than other colours.
’awould’acould’a maybe have gone for it a little more, but we were both thrilled with the outcome and we’re happy with easing her into the world of . 🔥

lighting makes such a huge difference. i can’t tell you how many times i’ve knocked someone’s hair out’a the park, but its 9PM and my salon lighting isn’t cutting it.
it’s so gutting cause i wanna share it with everyone so they can be as excited as we are, but no ring light is gonna be able to capture hair the same way natural indirect light will. and i’m definitely not always lucky enough to have it. 😔

always keep this in mind after an appointment, your hair is gonna look one way in the chair, one way when you’re outside in the sun, and another way in the shade, and even different again in the lighting of your own home.

you can trust me to make sure it’ll look good in all of the lights 💡

this beauty came to me for the first time and trusted me with her beautiful hairs.
we chatted lot’s before hand about expectations, wants etc etc.
when she came for her appointment i felt like she was a long lost friend and we had a big hug and ran inside to get started. SO lovely. I am SO lucky. 😚😚

This’ll be long winded, but! Worth the read!

🌼this was an incredibly rewarding transformation.

🌼 this sweetest soul came to me with quite a bit of heat damage and a haircut that didn’t quite make sense for her.
we had a super in-depth consultation about what she likes/doesn’t like about her current hair, what she ultimately wants… etc.

🌼 I had to offer some gentle of course, but harsh realities that to have that long hair she wants, the heat has to be super limited. we chatted about ways she could style her hair to feel good about the length it is, without using a ton of heat.

🌼 we had to cut some length to get it back to a good base line so we could work on her colour. losing length when you don’t want to can be super super difficult, but I think between the before and after’s you can see that it really made a huge difference in the overall look AND health of her hair.

🌼 she came back a few weeks later and we added a few tape in extensions on the sides to make it look a bit more even overall, and then a few months after that she came back in to touch up her colour, and the change in her hair was AMAZING! I was so happy for her, and it’s so nice that she could genuinely see the change as well.

🌼 the biggest takeaway from this is that my client’s always REALLY receptive. she wants to learn, wants to be happy and wants the help to get there. that is the best mindset you can come into a hair appointment with.

winter lighting is not a hairdressers friend. the days are short, and the photos never turn out as good. so - let’s pretend it’s as sunny, bright and warm outside now as it looks in this picture. ☀️

friends, I thank you all for supporting myself and my business.
i’ve put this off as long as I could, but it’s no longer feasible and/or the right way to run a business I give my all to.
with the steady increase in cost of living, and the consistent education I invest in along with my passion for each and every head of hair that I’m blessed to work on, this makes sense so I can continue to deliver the best quality outcome possible.
