For too long the messages that our older adults and seniors have been receiving are: “Relax”, “You’re too old to be doing THAT!”, “You should take it easy”, “Be careful! Don’t push yourself!” These messages are a HUGE disservice to Older Adults and Seniors!
More and more research is showing that our older adults and seniors NEED to move, they need to challenge themselves physically and mentally (safely of course!). Many of these diseases, aches, pains, and injuries aren’t because we’re getting older. Instead it's because we aren’t taking care of our bodies and minds as we age. We tend to adopt a more sedentary lifestyle as we age. Shockingly these habits start much earlier in our lives than we realize, sometimes as early as our 20’s and 30’s! No wonder that by the time we enter our 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s we experience declines in our cognitive and physical abilities!

7 years ago I decided that it was to time to take action and make a change; I wasn’t happy with myself and the direction that my life was headed in. The first step was to get control of my health, fitness, and physical appearance. Fast forward 7 years later, and this ONE decision lead to me becoming a Kinesiologist, Exercise Physiologist, and stepping in the ring for the first time.
My mission is to use what I’ve learned and practiced over these years to help you to help yourself, achieve a healthier lifestyle.
