The death of a loved one is a difficult experience.
When faced with this situation, there are many things you need to prepare for, including cancelling the deceased’s Old Age Security and Canada Pension Plan benefits.
These benefits are payable for the month in which the death occurs, but benefits received after this time will need to be repaid.
For how to cancel benefits, visit: https://ow.ly/e4JU50Smm9i

Welcome Western Manitoba Branch
Our branch welcomes you!
The National Association of Federal Retirees is the largest national advocacy organization representing active and retired members of the federal public service, Canadian Armed Forces, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and retired federally appointed judges, as well as their partners and survivors. With 176,000 members, the Association has been advocating for improvements to the financial security, health and well-being of our members and all Canadians for over 50 years.
The principal role of our Branch is to provide service to our members by disseminating information, holding semi-annual meetings where we provide a free buffet lunch and arranging for a speaker to provide information on a wide variety of topics of interest to our members.
