Westman Traditional Christmas Dinner
This tradition was started in 1985 by Rocky Addison, his family, and a few close friends
A great big thank you to Amanda & Andrea from Helping Hands Centre of Brandon Inc. for everything they both did to help out on Christmas Day. They both worked from very early in the morning until well after the Dinner was over on Christmas Day. Truly great volunteers!

Thanks to Dean from Howling The Night Away for supplying the sound & the awesome display for the Christmas Dinner. Also to Wakpa for doing such great job making sure we had the Christmas music and working all the equipment for the sound and lighting on December 23rd and Christmas Day for all of us to enjoy at the Christmas Dinner !
It’s a beautiful day to come down to the Keystone Centre and enjoy a free traditional Christmas meal, enjoy some company with others and watch the live entertainment!!

Yayyyy !!! It’s 6:30 am yep I said 6:30 am and look who’s here. Amanda from Helping Hands Centre of Brandon Inc. and she is busy getting all the delicious desserts ready for the day ! Make sure when you see Amanda you thank her for getting up soooo early on Christmas morning.

Year after year for the past 15 + years thanks to Carla and all her helpers with the Girl Guides it look like the dining hall is ready to go for today. What an awesome job you all did !

Faye (camera shy) & Rick are 2 of many hard working volunteers in Brandon that give thier time everyday to help make the lives of others brighter here in Brandon.

This Friday, BOUNCE 96.1 has your chance to bid on a Brandon Wheat Kings package in support of the Westman Traditional Christmas Dinner. The Brandon Wheat Kings Hockey Club (WHL) generously donated a package of 4 tickets to a regular season game and an autographed photo featuring 3 Manitoba Wheat Kings - Nolan Ritchie, Chad Nychuk and Tyson Zimmer - to the Westman Traditional Christmas Dinner. Brandon's Bounce Radio will take bids all day Friday, December 22nd until 5pm. To bid call the BOUNCE Brandon studio at 204-727-5996. Funds raised will support the Tradtional Christmas Dinner and help make sure no one is alone at Christmas.

We will be at Walmart from 8 am-4 pm today (December 9) accepting monetary donations as well as new unwrapped toys for the Westman Traditional Christmas Dinner!
There will be 2 elves outside happy to take your donations!! Let’s help fill the van for the children of Westman!!
We will have two elves inside Walmart accepting monetary donations and new unwrapped toys. They will also have tickets for the raffle currently happening which was made possible by the Law Family! Hope to see you out!

Wondering what way you can help support? We accept new unwrapped toys for the kiddos to receive Christmas Day, monetary donations (we even have a “Square” machine) to help with expenses, and you can also purchase raffle tickets to try and win one of the many awesome prizes the Law family have so graciously donated.
We have also partnered with Helping Hands Centre of Brandon Inc. and will be collecting non-perishable food items on their behalf.
