Legacy 728 International

Church & Ministry Training Centre

In 1994, the Holy Spirit visited a small church near the airport, in Toronto, Canada and began a visitation of God to the Nation of Canada that has since encompassed the world. With 1000's of people visiting the church nightly for over a decade of nightly meetings from all around the world, the revelation of our Heavenly Fathers love was released with a wave of healing that continues to this day.

Facing Giants - Part 1 — . 01/27/2022

Pastor Mike wrote this article for our Leaders leading Leaders Blog for CCAL a few weeks back and today it was published. The timing is amazing given that we just had a huge Convoy of Canadians come together in the last 48hrs to take down the Giant of medical tyranny and totalitarianism facing our Country. Amazing seeing Canadians take their place to stand for what’s right and the freedoms that our country was founded upon.

Facing Giants - Part 1 — . Everyone loves stories of the underdog coming out on top. There is nothing quite as exhilarating as watching your favourite sports team lighting it up in the fading moments of the game only to…

Some deep pondering from a study on the life and philosophies of CS Lewis. “Ever since Adam and Eve bit into the forbidden apple in the Garden of Eden, we have been trying to cover up our sin nature, not with fig leafs, but with our accomplishments. We think that if we become a millionaire, sign a record deal, get 100,000 Instagram followers, or write a classic novel like The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, then we’ll be able to mask our human condition. Essentially, we use our work as a means of saving ourselves.”

Why You Need Spiritual Accountability (Even if You've Been Hurt by Leaders) - Kris Vallotton 09/04/2019

Over the course of 16 years in Pastoral Ministry, I’ve heard Christians make claims that they’re accountable and under the “covering” of their Pastor or (Board) or spiritual leader. The truth about accountability however is that it is only tested in the fires of adversity, when your actions or behaviour presents your spiritual leaders with the responsibility to confront you on your behaviour. Only then will you truly know if you have real accountability in your life or if your “accountability“ is merely a token gesture. Being accountable to your “own opinion” is not being accountable and is self defeating to the intended goal of accountability.

I can honestly say in 16 years, nearly every time I’ve seen someone go off the rails, it has always been preceded by claims of how loyal they are to their church leadership and how much they love and value their church family or how much they value and desire “covering”.

The outcome always the same, the congregant makes these statements and within a matter of months issues surface that require leaderships involvement in their lives and the pattern is always the same, they’ve left the church or found some “major” issue in the lives of their leaders or come up with some kind of doctrinal issue and utilized that excuse to break relationship and avoid being held accountablfor their behaviour.

At the end of the day true accountability is only proven when you disagree but choose to submit because you have placed your trust in someone other than yourself to spiritually guide and lead you.

I’ve heard many people make statements that they’re accountable to Jesus. The majority of the time that means “they’re accountable to “their opinion” of what Jesus thinks, no one else’s. Scripture clearly teaches us that to be under Christ’s authority, we must be under the authority of man, because Christ has committed His authority to man. Eph 4:11-16;

Why You Need Spiritual Accountability (Even if You've Been Hurt by Leaders) - Kris Vallotton If you want to change the world, it’s imperative that you learn to submit your life and remain accountable to wise people! Over the years I have seen that one of the greatest stumbling blocks to achieving your God-given destiny is the desire to run the course alone, stifled by your own blindspots ...

I truly appreciate Patricia’s ministry and I know her to be of good reputation and to also have solid Apostolic covering and accountability in her life. Her comments and opinions in this video are extremely biblical and solid. I think her video is one of the most complete and thorough explanations of this matter.

Great reminder to a western generation who feel they are entitled to everything. We often remind our children that the freedom and beauty we have the privilege of living in was purchased by the blood sweat and tears of the generations that came before them. Let’s remember that not everyone has the opportunities we have and not squander our freedom on frivolous pursuits but rather on a life lived for the good of others.
