A vibrant energy filled the room at our Women in Leadership (WIL) Program event last night in Calgary. This highly anticipated gathering marked the first in-person event since the program’s inauguration in March 2023. The captivating discussion, themed “Understanding Diversity and Unique Barriers,” sparked a lively exchange of perspectives. Attendees also had the privilege of a keynote presentation from Dr. Hadiya Roderique, a distinguished Diversity and Inclusion Advocate, Journalist, and Lawyer. The event provided a secure and embracing environment for all participants, including women and those who identify as women in team lead positions and above, and men in director positions and above, to exchange their experiences and viewpoints on workplace diversity. This inclusive and varied assembly cultivated profound, meaningful conversations with inspirational narratives and invaluable insights.
