The boys went with their papa to round 1 of the Kartstars series at Goodwood kartways this weekend. Another tough learning experience. The provincial crowd race a lot harder then the locals!

Highlight video from todays race at Flamboro Speedway. Wyatt set fast time in every session except qualifying but fell from 2nd to 5th including a penalty in the final. Ethan started the feature 12th and finished 7th Next weekend the boys will be competing with the Kartstars series at Goodwood Kartways in Stoufville.

Saturday feature race results were as follows: Ethan spun in his pre-final, started 6th and recovered to 4th Wyatt moved from 12th up to 9th, running at the tail of a group of 4. With 2 laps to go, there was a stack-up that resulted in Wyatt breaking his front end and not being able to finish. With severe weather in the forecast for Sunday, The Saturday schedule had most of Sundays events tagged onto the end of it. This would have resulted in the boys not starting their days final events until 9 and 9:30pm. Having been at the track since 7am and not wanting to stick the boys into an event that may not happen, or would happen in frigid wet temperatures, we made the decision to withdraw from Sundays events and concludes our Florida race-cation. We cant thank enough, everyone who helped out during the past 2 weeks. This was an amazing trip and an amazing experience and we feel so fortunate to have been able to share it with so many great, supportive people. Thank you all!
