Qualifying Night #1 for the Mike Westbrook Memorial - Knoxville Nationals for the Steve King Foundation is in the books!
Kevin Fry put on an outstanding performance to win the Feature and also take the lead in Points towards the Finals.
Jeff Flaro finished P2, but a poor Q placed him tied for 5th in the Point Standings. Preston Cranmer ran a consistent night with P2 in Q, P3 in his Heat and a P3 finish in the Feature to place him 2nd overall after Night #1.
The attention now turns to Qualifier Night #2. It appears many Drivers opted for Night #2 which should provide a solid field and promises some great action.
The Top 16 Drivers in points after tomorrow night will have punched their ticket into the Knoxville Finals.

Former NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch to race in Kutztown on Wednesday will be at Action Track USA in Kutztown as part of the Hyper Racing 600 Speedweeks.

Coast2Coast Racing League Announces "Ladies Night" and Merrie Calder Memorial for Knoxville Nationals

The Coast2Coast Racing League is thrilled to unveil an exciting update for Qualifying Night #2 of the prestigious Mike Westbrook Memorial - Knoxville Nationals for the Steve King Foundation. The event will be rebranded as "Ladies Night" and will proudly feature the Merrie Calder Memorial, for Drivers' Spouses and partners.

The competition will feature Fixed 305 Winged Sprints with power set at 75%, promising a night of entertaining racing action.

Taking place on Tuesday night, the Merrie Calder Memorial, presented by Langton Mechanical, the evening will commence with a 30-minute practice session at 7:00 pm Eastern, followed by a 3-minute Qualifying Session.
Finally, drivers will compete in an exciting 15-lap Feature race, with caution laps not counting.

Bill Calder has generously pledged prize money in Merrie’s memory, rewarding the top performers as follows:
* 1st Place: $25
* 2nd Place: $15
* 3rd Place: $10

Additionally, the top three drivers will be invited to the broadcast booth for exclusive interviews during the live coverage.

Lucy is the starting point guard for Villanova Women's Basketball Team, currently ranked #10 in the country. Lucy was named to the Big East All-Freshman Team last year and 2nd Team All Big East team as a sophomore this season. She has played and started in every game of her college career. She is currently ranked #5 in the country for assist-to-turnover ratio.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will battle the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 Sprint Cars to kick off the season for the first time in speedway history.

Gates will open at 5:00 with racing getting underway at 7:30!

Note- In response to the new Hoosier Racing Tire that will first be raced on at Port Royal, March 10 & 11.

In an effort to help with the tire mounting process, teams that plan on racing the event can purchase and receive the new tires starting on Thursday, March 8.

After speaking with Hoosier, the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and the surrounding tracks, we will not be scheduling any tire tests/advance track time to begin the season prior to next weekends event involving the new tires. (This excludes this upcoming weekends open practice where the new tires will not be available)

This is being done to make the playing field as equal as humanly possible coming race weekend. Niether the Outlaws or the local Pennsylvania drivers will have had any advance laps on the new tires.

Winter Nationals

C2CRL Winter Nationals - Championship Night - 02/02/23 Coast2Coast Racing League continues their Winter Season Charity Event

The Iracing C2C Racing League is running their Winter Nationals at the virtual Volusia Speedway. Terry didn't have any prior engagements, so he loaded up all the virtual cars and racing he went.
Monday was the first night of qualifying for the main features. Terry put the 360 sprint car in the main event, finishing 7. The other cars would have to wait till night 2.
On Tuesday, with the 360 in the show, next up on the track was the 305 sprint car. Not finishing good with this car, Terry would have to wait till Wed night to race in the "C" main.
On to the 358 modified, Terry passed 2 cars to put it in the main feature. With the Big Bock modifieds up next, Terry had his work cut out starting 11th. When the checkers fell, Terry would bring it home in 4th.
Wednesday, Terry would start 3rd and finish 3rd in the "C" main, advancing to the "B" main. Starting 9th, Terry had to pass one car to get locked into the main event for the 305 sprint car. Colby Kasinger and Terry put on a great show battling for the transfer spot, with Terry bringing it home in the 8th position.
