Erie Garage Doors, working in collaboration with Reid & Deleye Contractors Ltd., and the Owners of Simcoe Toyota, has completed the install of the doors in their new dealership.

With a springless design and an opening speed of 96” per second, the S-631 is up to 84” per second faster than a standard sectional door which greatly reduces heat loss – not only saving money and reducing their carbon footprint, but keeps customers and employees more comfortable, all the while providing maintenance free operation for years.

Whenever a dock door is opened during loading or unloading activities, infiltration losses occur between the truck and the door when the truck trailer is pulled up to the dock door. However, there is a solution to the issue—Dock Door Seals.

This can be done by either surrounding the dock with wide pads and compressing the trailer (this is called a compression seal), or with a foam frame that compresses against the sides and top of trailer box, which is a shelter / curtain seal.
