Sophie Macmillan, a seasoned instructor from House of Eights, Nova Scotia’s top studio for adult lessons, will teach these sessions. We’re thrilled to offer this opportunity for movers and groovers of all levels, 19 and older, to experience the passion, physical activity, and camaraderie that our younger dancers enjoy.

A full circle moment today at plan A… Sidney Mcillroy, who taught both Miss Soph and Miss Mal during their competitive dance years, was in the studio today to choreograph for our company dancers 💕 Such a special day and a special piece. It really feels like a family coming back together after years apart, and we hope that our dancers are enjoying seeing and experiencing where their teachers came from! Caps are for dancers taking several classes. Caps allow dancers to get classes for FREE.

Tuition is capped at $400 per payment per dancer.

2+ children will have a cap of $200, saving $200 per sibling if taking max classes.

INTRODUCING THE SISTER SYSTEM 👯‍♀️
Dancers and parents! We are thrilled to introduce our new program called the Sister System at our dance studio. This initiative pairs our older competitive dancers with younger ones, fostering friendships and mentorship among our talented dancers. Each older dancer will become a role model and cheerleader for their younger ‘sisters,’ offering guidance, support, and encouragement both on and off the dance floor. This program not only strengthens our dance community but also ensures that every dancer feels supported and inspired throughout their journey with us. We can’t wait to see the bonds that will form and the incredible growth that will come from this special program! Thus year us all about building COMMUNITY within our Plan A family 💚💜 Stay tuned- sister matching coming in September!

Yet another plan A staff member soon to be certified by Acrobatic Arts! Miss Sierra is excited to be bringing acro to Liverpool 🤸‍♂️😄 Shout out to Anna for volunteering her time this weekend as a demonstrator for the certification!

A two year journey of hours upon hours of seminars and classes, essays, teaching evaluations, self evaluations, and class plans have all come to fruition! Plan A now has a fully certified ADAPT teacher. Congratulations 🥳

In just a few short days registration for season eight will be open 🥳 Here are a few helpful tips for choosing classes, specifically for those in our competitive programming. If you have any questions regarding these tips please feel free to ask. We have a few last-minute things going up on the website, but all information should be updated by the end of the week to clarify everything :)

CONGRATULATIONS 🥳 to Miss Sophie on her official acceptance into the teacher training program at the incredible Maritime Conservatory of performing arts! In just 2 short years, we will have two graduates and alumni of this fantastic program at MCPA that focusses on child development, anatomy, pedagogy, and technical dance training. 🩷🩰

TODAY IS THE DAY! All experienced competitive dancers 9+ looking to be on a competitive team must attend comp placements. *Dancers who have not experienced competitive dancing do not need to attend this- we have a team for you that does not require tryouts :)
All experienced dancers have the option to attend company auditions where a select few dancers will be chosen to form PLAN A COMPANY. We will also be selecting a few lucky apprentices who will get to train with company and learn the choreography getting the chance to be an alternate in case of injury- illness.
