Most of the time on social media in the aesthetic industry we see photo upon photo of perfect pouts, but the reality is those lips belong to a demographic that haven’t lost a lot of volume or pigmentation yet. The majority of my clients are 35 plus, with most being over the age of 50, so often I see fine lines, lost tissue volume, asymmetry, and pigmentation issues when it comes to their lips. Lips at every age are beautiful and I want to normalize what lip blushing will look like if you get it as you age. This client is in her 70’s and has had lip blushing previously but it has completely faded away as you can see which is normal. There is still a bit of asymmetry that needs to be worked on at her touchup and we may go a shade or two darker as per her request. I love the colour as the base reminds me of Charlotte Tillbury’s cult classic lipstick “pillow talk”

Meet Julie! She is one beautiful warrior and person in general. Surviving breast cancer, chemo, radiation, surgeries, side effects, kids left her with little tuffs of eyebrow hairs. I picked Julie for a model call for nano brows because she certainly deserves it and couldn’t do that for herself at this time! I was up for the challenge of working with dry, damaged skin and happy to say we achieved our goal. The redness is expected and will go away within a few days. The bottom photo is of this client’s healed brows following the initial appointment. We didn’t want to go too dark and play it on the safer side of colour. This is why a touchup is needed, she wants them a bit deeper in colour and some areas have more saturation than others. Touchups are done at 6-8 weeks to make sure your skin is completely healed and ready for more pigment.
