Don is known for a career developing effective campaigns for large domestic and international clients. His work has been recognized by Marketing, ADCC, Cannes Lions, One Show, and Communication Arts. In his 25+ years he’s been a part of the production of over 800 TV and radio ads & in 2020 he also became a Professor at Seneca College in Toronto.

Golf Canada put on an excellent RBC Open in June. Overall it was a massive win for Nick Taylor, the 1st Canadian to win the Canadian Open since 1954.
Golf Ontario approached Evolve Agency Group with the challenge of increasing the public player membership.
Solution: Focus on the value proposition of joining. The Evolve digital team developed a targeted audience that is interested in golf but also interested in the offer. This also created a highly targeted approach that was applied to a programmatic display supported by search and social campaign.
Result: The program launched in Early June and experienced increased members in the first two weeks alone!
Also, during the RBC Canadian Open, Golf Ontario's Nick Taylor was interviewed about the program on TSN – and we got a shout-out!

Mandarin Restaurants has launched a brand-new campaign that inspires excitement and shows that every win in life, big or small, deserves to be celebrated at Mandarin!
And of course, the variety of mouth-watering buffet options play centre stage. The campaign encourages Customers to realize their Dream Dish with choice from over 100 dishes to create the perfect plate that is uniquely their own.

Schools closed, the NBA stopped, and we all became very familiar with a new vocabulary filled with words like Covid, 'flattening the curve', social distancing and ‘you’re on mute’ 😲. We were just 6 weeks into the consolidation of OKD, Brandfire, MJM & A3H Imaging to become what is now Evolve Agency Group. No one was anticipating the drastic changes that would come from the Covid-19 pandemic.
We are grateful to have a team that showed courage, resilience and patience through some very challenging years… In fact, it helped define our character. We are collaborative with each other and with our clients. We are focused on operational excellence. And we know that, now, more than ever, communication is paramount to success. 📣

In 2023 we are going to see the rise of buzzwords such as "Generative AI" and an increasing awareness of AI bots.
Generative AI Chatbots are ➡️ "powered by large amounts of data and computing techniques to make predictions about stringing words together in a meaningful way. They not only tap into a vast amount of vocabulary and information, but also understand words in context. This helps them mimic speech patterns while dispatching an encyclopedic knowledge." Essentially, they are meant to create content.
As these bots become more popular, it's critical to know not just "how to use them" but also "what you can do with them". Tools like this have the potential to be very helpful to many. From copy writers, to teachers, medics & marketers! At the end of the day they aren't magic, they are all predictive and based on data. As we know, sometimes data isn't correct. So it is more of a helpful tool than a replacement.
