Hop on over to Joseph Brant Museum for a Visit with the Easter Bunny! Families can book a 5-minute time slot for a private visit with the Easter Bunny (6 family members maximum). Henry’s Camera will be taking professional photos, and providing one digital image and a “Free Instant 8×10 Print” voucher for use at an in-store kiosk. Parents are also welcome to use their own cameras. During their visit, children can take part in an Easter egg hunt throughout the galleries and complete an Easter-themed craft. There will also be a mini-Makers Market on site, and hot chocolate to enjoy! The mini-Makers Market will also be open to those with General Admission tickets to the Museum.

Join us to celebrate the fall season at Applefest Fall Fair on October 1, from 10am – 2pm on the grounds of Ireland House Museum. The day will be filled with family entertainment on the main stage, an Apple Scavenger Hunt, vendor market, food truck, historic demonstrations, and tours of the historic Ireland House Museum.

Capacity is limited and reservations are recommended. Walk-in guests will be accommodated, space permitting. Tickets can be purchased at museumsofburlington.ca and includes mainstage entertainment, Apple Scavenger Hunt, and Museum tour.

Naughty or Nice Ornament $15

Zoey always wanted an elf on the shelf, and honestly, I was hesitant to get one. Then she discovered an “old fashioned elf” among the Christmas decorations. Zoey named him ‘Buddy’ and gave him enough love that he came to life. Now every year on December 1st, he comes to life to stay with us until Christmas. We have created a door to help him get to our house from the North Pole, and back and forth between houses during sleepovers with family. Zoey painted this one herself, and keeps it in her room with Buddy. She loves waking up and searching the house to find buddy and see what shenanigans he’s been up to. Now I can say it’s a really fun tradition that I’m glad we started. 🎄
