🗓 When: Tuesday, September 17 to Saturday, October 26, 2024
🏃‍♀️ Format:
🏞 Saturdays: 8:30 AM at Aldershot Pool
🏟 Tuesdays: 6:30 PM track workout at MM Robinson
The program includes 3 runs a week, with the third on your own.

To provide awareness and opportunities for Emergency Service personnel to engage in conversations surrounding mental health, workplace stress injuries and PTSD.

Looking for a couple of support crew people. Chelle Smith will be running 100 km in 24 hours in full firefighting gear as part of a mental health awareness event, and could really use some help. Pacing, support crew. It will only require two people to help out at a time, and we can arrange shifts. The event is https://www.facebook.com/CodeRedUltra

Thank you so much Burlington Runners Club! This year they raised over $3800 for the FAB foundation through their and Sulphur Springs Trail Race events. And on top of this, the club generously donated another $1500!!!

The Burlington Runners Club has been a big supporter of the FAB Foundation for many years and we are truly grateful for this amazing partnership. This past Saturday we had the opportunity to meet and thank BRC in person and saw a few familiar faces from FAB (past board member, coaches and our original website designer!).

Such a wonderful group of new and avid runners. If you are interested in signing up for a running club, you should definitely reach out to BRC today!

We are thrilled that we are able to continue with our tradition of supporting the FAB Foundation. Today, we presented with a significant donation! Thanks to our amazing runners and supporters, our races Sulphur Springs Trail Race and Robbie Burns 8K Race - Burlington ON, we were able to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others. A huge shoutout to everyone who contributed and made this possible. Together, we are making a difference in our community. 🏃‍♂️💪❤️

Representatives from Fab Foundation will be present and will join us for a run after the ceremony. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Burlington Runners would like to wish all our members a very Happy Canada Day. We hope that you’ve had a great long weekend, spending time with Friends and Family, reflecting on what it means to be Canadian. And, of course, getting those long runs in for a marathon in the fall.

What a fantastic running weekend! Started with track and a community run on Saturday, finished C25k strong, and conquered a long run on Sunday. The sun was shining, the breeze was perfect - couldn’t have asked for better conditions. ☀️🏃‍♂️💪

How to find and download your photos:

1. Go to the linked main gallery page

2. Click on the race page

3. In the dropdown quick link menu, click ** UPLOAD A SELFIE TO SEARCH FOR YOUR PHOTOS ** You can then drag and drop your selfie into the box and the facial recognition software will go and look through the images and find you! (Don't mind the sad panda). This gallery is searchable by facial recognition.

4. When your gallery populates, you can then choose the images that you want to keep and download with one click!

5. There are also some additional images in quick link Candid - scenic and some other things that won't be found by facial recognition. You are able to download those as well, if you would like to make yourself a little race album. Mass starts similarly have their own quick link.
