A little Mother’s Day cricut craft for my MIL. Holy moly, this took a lot of patience to w**d and I felt like I was going cross eyed🤪, but the final outcome was totally worth it.

One Happy Dude 🙂 I had so much fun crafting for Hudson’s first birthday party 🎉 From his high chair banner to the thank you stickers on the back of the sugar cookies, no craft was too big or too small! I fell more and more in love with this theme the more I created for it.

Our wedding day was August 5th - smack dab in the middle of summer - so this was a no brainer! A day of itinerary that also serves as a fan (or some shade ☀️🕶️) for our guests during the ceremony. Hands down my favourite DIY creation for the day and still impressed with myself for managing to make 90 of them with a newborn in the mix 🙌🏻

Jamie and I had been together for nine years before he popped the question - mainly because of me🤭 But, we had agreed if we were going to be putting a large sum of money towards something, it would be a house and not a wedding. He proposed anyways, and here we were planning a wedding (and not buying a home because who can do that now a days anyways)😅 We decided to go in a more non-traditional direction (at least for my family); picnic bench seating, serve yourself dinner buffet, potluck dessert table, DIY Spotify DJ, and a few other things. All we wanted was for our family and friends to be together and have the best time celebrating with us, without landing in a ton of debt from a one day event… and so that’s where the idea stemmed from and it couldn’t have been anymore perfect ☑️

My last Nourish magazine before maternity leave🤰🏻and I got the opportunity to create the cover for the spring edition! A fun mix of real images and textures with watercolour illustrations sprinkled in🌿 one of my fave pieces.

I embraced spring a bit early this year with these baby in bloom shower invitations that I created for myself. It was weird designing my own invitations🙃 but glad I got to put my skills to use and help out my family and friends who generously planned everything else🥰

A couple life changes are happening this year, and one of the major ones is… I’M PREGNANT🤰🏻Bebe is set to arrive early May and we are so excited/anxious for this new adventure. One of the first ways we shared the news was by creating this simple wine bottle label for my mom (one of the benefits of being a graphic designer) and sticking it on a bottle of her favourite wine. Stealthy, effective and a cute idea for grandparents-to-be💕

Katie and Kurtis tied the knot late October and I’m still swooning over EVERYTHING about this day - including these simple table details 🌿 from modern black menus, unique flat place cards to simple greenery… perfection👌🏻
