Loose-leaf collection for Zone 1 begins Nov. 13. For all zones, have your leaves to the curb no more than two days before your zone and keep bike lanes and sidewalks clear. Remove hockey nets, basketball nets and other obstructions so the trucks can collect the leaves safely.

If you miss your date, you will need to mulch them or bag your leaves for Halton Region’s Yard Waste Pickup.

It is also important to note this program depends on the weather. If there is early snow or freezing rain, the program may be cancelled for your zone, and you will need to mulch or bag your leaves.

Registration for fall and winter programs opens August 19

Fall and winter recreation programs registration opening soon The City’s fall and winter adult recreational programs will be opening for registration on Aug. 19 at 9 a.m. Youth programs, aquatic leadership and swimming lessons will be opening for registration at 11 a.m. All programs are viewable online now.
