The Bubble Soccer event planned for tomorrow, Wednesday July 10, is being RE-SCHEDULED. The remnants of hurricane Beryl will be arriving in Burlington tomorrow. Weather experts are forecasting 100% chance of rain, with up to 30 mm expected.

The entire event, including the BBQ beforehand, will be re-scheduled to Wed, July 31.

This Summer we are excited to return to what has become a regular practice of reading through a book of the Bible. Beginning this coming weekend we will be starting a series in the Book of Luke.

If you have never made a habit of reading the Bible, then consider taking on this challenge with the rest of our church family. Our reading plan starts Monday and daily podcasts with a devotional thought to supplement your reading can be found wherever you listen to podcasts ( a link to Spotify is below ).

Fun Fair is 1pm-5pm
Free charge
BBQ is $5 (includes hot dog, chips, pop & dessert)

This Sunday we begin a new series exploring what the Bible says about our money, and how we can learn to use it as a tool to help us grow generous hearts, and live generous lives.

Join us this Sunday as we turn our attention to the future of our church. A previous pastor from Compass Point used to end his emails by writing “press on”. It was a reminder from Philippians 3:12-14 to stay focused on the goal ahead, and to commit to the work at hand.

It is easy to get lost along the way of any journey unless we take moments to look up and get our bearings. It is no different in the church. Setting our focus on who we want to become will help us clarify our next steps.
