To my most valued Babes & Free Spirits,

Free the Spirit started in 2014 with a hope that rave babes everywhere would feel confident in their outfits, while wearing something they loved. It’s almost 2023 and that still hasn’t changed.

Life has though. While it’s been an incredible 9 years, I no longer have the time & resources to dedicate to this labour of love. Rising costs & inflation will also mean I will no longer be able to keep pricing & shipping at reasonable and affordable levels - which I have always strived to do.

Because of this, I have made (the slightly heartbreaking) decision
to retire Free the Spirit. ♥

January will be the last chance to shop freethespirit.ca as you know it. Everything is currently priced to sell! Whatever we have in stock by Jan 30th will transition to Etsy. You can shop in person until the end of January as well.

Ambassador codes, gift cards and any other discount code can be used until the end of January.

My goal is to still keep FTS socials around as your style inspo, festie meet-ups, and general art & creative outlet. I’m unsure if i’ll continue the vintage sales or not - i’ve still got some soul searching to do on how to continue and transition! However - For the time being, I will still be taking custom hat orders. These will be available by DM & Etsy only.

Your support and love over the past almost-decade has meant the world to me. I’ve been so grateful to meet so many of you, and form some life-long friendships as well. I hope to keep running into you beautiful souls at fests & shows! Don’t be a stranger - always say hi!
