Tune in this Thursday at 10:30 a.m. EDT to watch the Canadian Armed Forces Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) change of command ceremony between General Wayne Eyre and the incoming CDS General Jennie Carignan.
The Cadets from RCSCC IRON DUKE and RCSCC OAKVILLE attended a second funfilled day of sail training. The weather was great and all of the cadets had a great time.
The Cadets from RCSCC IRON DUKE and RCSCC OAKVILLE got on the water for the first time since COVID shut us down. It was great to get out on the water and learn CanSail skills!

Our Story
The Burlington Sea Cadets participate in a range of activities, including sailing, seamanship, orienteering, marksmanship and music. Leadership and nautical-based activities are also main parts of the program! Sea Cadets is a free program available to youth aged 12 through 18. The program is a partnership between the Department of National Defence and the Navy League of Canada.
The goal of the program is to have youth leading youth, with the support of both Reserve Force Canadian Forces Members and screened Civilian Volunteers.
Cadets learn valuable leadership, team building, group management and problem-solving skills, all while building self-confidence and self-esteem.
There are no registration fees, and cadets are provided their uniforms and accessories at no charge. Cadets can also earn community service hours as members of the program.
