In light of this 60min nail tech that’s been stirring up conversation, THIS rebalance with art was 2hrs and some change… focus on the rebalance part ⏳

Rebalance: when nail enhancements are applied, they are structurally sound for that clients specific nail bed. After a duration of approximately 3 to 4 weeks that structure has grown out with the natural nail therefore appearing unbalanced/unaesthetic and compromising the integrity of the nail enhancement.

By NOT removing and applying new sets each time, thus weakening the natural nail, a fill or rebalance is necessary. Depending on the natural nail structure and growth pattern depends on which service will best serve each individual clients needs.

So if you are looking for a quick in and out fill I am not your ‘Nail Lady’ 👋

Did you know?

You can still be festive, but not super noticeable? This babe took a leap and got some subtle spiderwebs to show her appreciation for Halloween, but not letting go of her neutral pink that she loves so much.

Foot maintenance is a must. After 20 years of doing my own pedicures, I found getting my regular pedicure, very grounding and vital to my mental health in many ways.

Simple & clean. This is the reality of Glossy. Most of my clients get functional everyday nail enhancements. Regardless of the copious amounts of ridiculously long nails you see on social media… this is still happening. DONT COME AT ME I love my long nails. BUT I also want people to know that normal length nails are cool too. ✌️

Can we talk about Custom Nails?

Did you know that back in the day they had boards with numbered designs that you would choose from? There wasn’t much flexibility in custom designs, and if you asked for something different you were scowled out and deemed problematic. Now I can’t speak for other nail techs, but as for myself, I love creating custom nails for my clients, however, I’m fortunate enough to have 20+ years worth of nail art supplies in order to make almost anything possible. Please keep this in mind when requesting nail art designs, as well as when you’re paying for your service. Having all of these items available comes at a cost for the nail tech, and although you may not be receiving them every single time, the fact that you have the option is a luxury. ❤️
