Isn’t he just SO fu***ng majestic??!

Many of you have been able to experience my dogs presence.

His giant stature, gentle energy and unconditional love.

His warm welcomes into my home- where he makes every.single.person, feel worthy of ALL the good that exists in this world, regardless of where you’re at. The children, whose faces light up, when this big dog becomes their best friend, in mere seconds.

The souls who utilize his ability to heal, alongside mine.

His love for me is far beyond my understanding.

And Titus holds a familiar energy.

Today, 9 years ago, someone so inexplicably special to me, was taken abruptly from this earth. I just couldn’t process the truth of never being able to see him again, or not being able to feel his unwavering love for me in the flesh ever again. I couldn’t accept that I will never been seen again, quite like Peter saw me.

Today, Titus turns 6.

In these 6 years, I have been able to feel that love again. This immense sense of protection and appreciation from this being who sees me in this light that is, so pure.

I never expected or intended, to receive what I have from my dog, or any fur covered 4 legged fart machine, for that matter.

6 years ago, Titus was divinely sent to this earth to help me heal.
To help heal you.
To remind me how worthy of love I am, how worthy YOU are of love.

Unconditionally.

As I celebrate the dualities of life and death today, I am embracing the marvelous beauty that lies within our journey.

Peter, thank you.
Your remarkable legacy lives on.

This week has been heavy, challenging, confusing, eye opening, and has felt, at times, down right impossible.

Relief, endings and bountiful grief.

Trying to hold my world up with one hand, while the other wipes the tears of my children, my own, and extends 7000 miles away, to be what I can be, to the person who shows up for me unconditionally on a daily basis, who has experienced a loss no words can express.

Nobody told me how hard this would be, and now I understand, why there truly is, no words to explain it.

I know grief is hard, I’ve been there many times.

This has been in a whole new capacity. One I cannot control at all, but wish I could, just even for a second.
To press pause on the tears, and grant a moment of peace to aching hearts.

Taking every day…
One by one.
Step by step.
To do what I am able to, in each passing moment, for every passing day.

To honour what my family needs, what I need, which I don’t even know.

To allow love in, and allow myself to be supported, as I support.
By souls who choose to show up for me, not because I ask, because, I am loved.
By those who can feel my soul when it’s crying for help, in this darkness we are currently experiencing.

Right now, it’s one day at a time.

Remaining as brave as possible, as I try to collect the pieces of many broken hearts, and lay them softly into a basket of love, so I can keep them safe until they are ready to be slowly put back together.

Only time, our most precious gift, can heal this.

Steady on, with gentleness for husband and his family, my children, and myself, as we navigate this loss that has left a hole, that will be filled with love, once this mourning transmutes into whatever comes next.

What’s this?

This is grief.

We don’t get to choose how and when grief shows up, it just does.

It comes and goes, within us and around us.

Without warning.

My grandmother, was like a mother to me.
I remember things about her.
The way she moved and smelled. Her ability to cared for others in such a gentle and magical way. How she carried this intense refusal to grow up. Her inner child constantly demanded to be healed. Perhaps most people wouldn’t have paid attention to these things, but I held onto them with wonder.

So naturally, when out of absolute nowhere, I come across this perfume sample in my closet (which I still have no idea where it came from)…grief smacked me hard and fast, like a Mac truck.

There she was.
This smell, I haven’t smelt in years.
It was her.
Right there with me, as I was taken into core memories, where I played with this bottle in her bathroom, as she hung out the window, smoking a cigarette.

Grief can be beautiful.
It can be ugly.
Unexpected.
Smooth.
Joyous.
Hard.
Long.

Grief is, what it is.

So, when it hits, out of the blue, keep in mind that it looks so different for everyone, in every moment of our lives.

Mistakes are inevitable. And so is the growth that comes from them.

Ask Questions. Especially in conflict.
Clarity comes from curiosity.

Selfishness isn’t as bad as we make it out to be.
An empty cup, is.

Full Circle is REAL.
Everything you do will come back, so, always intend to do good.

Your gifts will engage when they need to. This usually happens when you stop trying to be anything outside of your authentic self.

Happiness can be momentary.
Contentment delivers peace of mind.

Grief is a motherf**ker and it has an ability to shape-shift.
Be gentle with yourself when it hits you hard without warning.

We are miraculous. Believe it.

I’m finding myself in a space confusion, and great disappointment.

Is it a compliment in the small business world, when you become aware that your products are being imitated by another maker?

When you create something unique- it takes hours, days and sometimes years to get it right. Exactly how you envisioned, and intended it to be.

Individuality and personal integrity are characteristics that cannot be replicated, whilst inauthenticity can be seen, smelt and felt from a mile away.

Energy IS Everything.

Personally, I truly don’t find it complimentary to be copied.

I do however, believe that INSPIRING others, to be a very different story.

Inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially, something creative.

Copying, is to make a similar or identical version of, as in, reproduce.

If you’re unable to come up with creative concepts for your OWN business, it could be a great investment to yourself, and good service to the community of creators in your region, to take some time and dive into self discovery. Establish your own identity. Uncover the things in you, that have designed who YOU are, rather than taking from others, who have done the hard work over the course of years, to perfect something that is, uniquely theirs.

If you’re stuck, find inspiration.
Don’t steal, to heal.

Inspiration holds INDIVIDUALITY.
Copying is creative THEFT.

Honor the Community.

Community empowers, inspires and supports us.

Community, has our back.
