Had a great time on the card this weekend. got the “W” with a well matched opponent .8 From . Overall a great experience.

Nicks opponent however, seemed like a good kid with rotten scumbag of a coach who I will leave unmentioned unless anyone asks. The coach Lied about his students Record when matching. Then instructed his student not to even try to make weight coming in 6 lbs heavy. As a debut fight for our student someone up to maybe 3-4 fights would be ok, but 8 ( we were told 0-0 ) is too much and I wouldn’t have put him in there. But obviously the coach knew that and wanted to put his student in there with someone who had no experience. Even though managed to give this kid a solid challenge and went the full fight, your actions are not just harming the promoters that vouch for you, they could have put the safety of another human in jeopardy as well. But your student is going to be the one to suffer from this long term.

Congrats to Thomas for the win and Nick for handling it all with class and dignity as a martial artist should.

Even though we didn’t go home with the “W” we couldn’t be more proud of performance. It was a close fight and these are the ones you grow from the most. Brette demonstrated great skill, showmanship and most importantly heart.

Speedy recovery to waiting in the ER. After putting on a great show in the 1st 2 round he dislocated his shoulder near the end of the second rnd. And still battled through another round with it being out. Warrior material.

Tomorrow! Doors at 4 fights at 5. Remember, if you want to sit, it’s either on the mats or bring your own chair/lawn-chair. Just make sure the chair would not puncture the matted floor!

It may be golf themed but take it from someone that doesn’t even like golf ( Coach Johan ) it is a lot of fun.

When? Dec 4, 8-10pm

Who? You! Teens, Adults and kids class parents are all welcome ( unfortunately there isn’t anything for younger kids there ) There is a limit to how many people we can book for. With your rsvp mention the other person you want to take with you, If there is enough space we encourage you to bring a second! We will let you know Saturday if there is room for your second. Cost: $31.5, this includes entry and the games. There is food and drinks available to purchase however these will be at your cost. You can pay by e-transfer or we can charge this directly to your account.
