Scarves and Things by Grace
“I was taught to crochet and embroider by my mom.
Over the years I have made several items as gifts. It was about 6 years ago that I started to sell my work, starting with the lovely ruffly scarves made with the sashay yarn from red heart. They were fun to make and they went quick.
A good friend of mine suggested I start a page and that's when I came up with the name Scarves and Things by Grace. It was a way to show my pieces to my friends and acquaintances.
I have since made many blankets, baby blankets, washcloths, Swiffer covers, wraps, ponchos and of course scarves. I spend a lot of time looking for interesting patterns to try.
I don't have an inventory of finished pieces as of yet. A lot of my work has been done on commission basis. However my wonderful husband has encouraged me to work towards an inventory of a variety of pieces. So I've decided he's right and I'll be working on that this year,” Grace, Scarves and Things by Grace.
It is quite literally OUR honour to have crossed paths with Grace.
