Come join us Saturday Aug. 24 from 4-9 to celebrate the end of construction and full reopening of Buckmaster Park.
The is hosting a movie in the park, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a special screening of Ghostbusters Afterlife at 7pm.

The proposed land use change envisions this large assembled site to be redeveloped as Ā±34 three-bedroom townhome-style units and Ā±34 one-to-two-bedroom Secondary Suites, with Ā±36 vehicle parking stalls within carports accessed off the lane, and Ā±32 secure Mobility Storage Units or Class 1 Bicycle Stalls.

A big change this year will be the Saturday Night Barbecue social, sponsored by Mary Dascollas, Royal LePage Benchmark, our community realtor.
Entry fee will be $20 per person/event (or $40 per team/event). Registration opens July 15th and will be done online. Deadline for entries is August 7th.

The Bankview Community Association is looking to hire for a contract role as a Community Coordinator. The Community Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as community engagement, communication, event planning, outreach, and organizing. This is a hybrid role, meaning it is primarily located in Bankview, Calgary, AB with flexibility for some remote work.

- Assist residents and city crew to move waste out of their vehicles
- Adhere to safety rules around the trucks

Notice of Special Resolution
The Board of Directors of the Bankview Community Association (BCA) hereby gives notice that at the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the BCA to be held May 26, 2024, the Board of Directors will be proposing the following Special Resolution to amend the BCA Bylaws:
WHEREAS the Section 9.3 of the BCA Bylaws states that āSubsequent one (1) year terms, to a maximum of three (3) total terms, may be permitted upon receipt of an affirmative vote of the majority of the Voting Members of the Association present at the Annual General Meeting.ā
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the BCA Bylaws be amended as follows: 1. Section 9.3 is repealed and replaced with the following: Subsequent one (1) year terms, to a maximum of five (5) total terms, may be permitted upon receipt of an affirmative vote of the majority of the Voting Members of the Association present at the Annual General Meeting.

This service is free to all Calgarians.

One of the proposed actions is citywide rezoning. This change will help increase the supply of housing to meet demand. Also, it reduces the costs and timelines for permit approvals. Finally, it allows for greater housing variety and options to suit Calgariansā needs.
